Default Looking for a Good Apple Barrel or Folk Art for...

the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

I am wanting to make sure that I got the right color schemes for Notre Dame home jersey.

If you use Apple Barrel or Folk Art
, which paints do you use to do this uniform? Any assistance would be most appreciative.

Reg

Default What color

Reg what jersey color are you making. The green, or blue? Which ever scheme try Hobbytown USA if you have one in your area. I get all my paints for them.

Default Reggie,

Apple Barrell has the perfect gold for the helmets. Try metallic gold. You will def. need 2 coats, and will look weird when applying it, but once it dries, it looks great.

I am currently painting the Irish green jerseys. I am using Metallic champagne on their pants and hunter green mixed with white pearl to lighten just a little and give them the glimmer effect. All of the paints are folk art.
