Eric & Dave's Open Run College Tourney (texas Is In Da House)
TEXAS IS N DA HOUSE!
After the first day of play (39 games played - Round Robin) @ Eric & Dave's 1st annual Open Run College MF Tourney, TEXAS has only lost 1 game. Reg R. & the undefeated Mike Robertson have come out WEST and put on a great show. They are both great coaches who truly bring the best out in their opponents. When coaching against the TEXANS, you better be ready for some RAZZLE DAZZLE. Holes appear in your defensive line, their back runs through, then it is lights out for your D. After completing the Round Robin rounds the four top seeds (receiving byes) are Reg R. - Tennessee Vols, Mike Robertson - Dem Horns, Celo T. -UCLA, and Rick Garrison;s ECU PIRATES (no particular order). Man...this is actually my first tournament...I am having a blast...today we play for keeps! It's on and crackin' and the Texas connection is putting in work. Stay tuned for details pics and more as Eric and Dave's Open Run College Tourney nears closer to it's first Champion.

Man congratulations! Maybe next year we can make the Open Run in combo with a MFCA West Convention. (just an idea) Great Job!

The round robin yesterday was great! It was my first tournament ever and it was plenty of fun and I really enjoyed meeting a lot of new faces and sharing in the good times. I took today off though, but I am looking forward to hearing about today's games! Good luck to all you guys!

It's an all MIKE final in the Open Run tourney as MIKE Robertson and MIKE Turner will play for the hardware!
Robertson defeated Erir Robinson 21-0 to advance to the championship and Turner defeated Reg Rutledge 16-7 to advance! Stay tuned for mor as the game progresses! DMC

Congrats to Mike Robertson (2008 Open Run Champion)
Congrats to Mike Robertson...truly a class act and great champion. It was a great weekend of EF/MF. I had a blast...fellowshipping and cracking plastic with new and old faces. Looking forward to the start of the CBSMF season.
I urge those who are not partaking in the CBSMF to get on board. We have a chance to do something national, and it would benefit the hobby if all of the veterans & greats set an example for the newbies by doing it big (IMHO). Would love to see Mike Robertson and Adrian Baxter crack some plastic.
