Default I have to agree with Shabby

The NFL is in the business of making money--serious money. If they feel, at any point that one of their divisions no longer can justify their investment, then they will drop it like a hot potato, trust me. Until then, give them time, and if they do drop it, there will always be someone to come along and fill the void--let's just hope it does not take so long.

Thumbs up Why even worry about Excalibur

From what I have been observing Excalibur has not been serious about
miniature football. Their product is/was quickly produced and honestly
seemed cheap in construction.

Now the NFL wants a higher standard for manufactured teams/players!?

The NFL knows about this site and all you guys who take the time and
effort to design and produce quality MF products. The problem is they
want the majority of the profits.

Meanwhile, all who are associated with MF will continue to reap the
benefits from our own little community like better larger boards, better
teams and team poses, as well as the extraneous field dress, stadiums etc.

One thing though, I'm not too good at building or constructing, could someone
make a plain old manual scoreboard?

That's the problem with a lot of people, they want instant gratification, nothing is worth waiting for anymore to anyone!

Get beyond the shelfishness and look towards the future.

Look for the big picture, it's right in front of you, but most people fail to see it.

I totally agree with you Shaby J!
They don't realize that we are a small minority in the scope of Excalibur's Vibrating Football sales. They completely sold out of their boards on their last production run (Holiday Seasons 2007). We don't have enough people on this forum to buy them out over a year, let alone 2 months. Look at the BIG PICTURE...you have to crawl before you can walk. We're fortunate that they are even acknowledging us. How many of you can say that you would not take the money and run (same old product, but new $ every Holiday Season). It looks like the same old EF/MF frame of mind to me...bash it, ban it, complain about it. I will remain to be patient, and purchase what I need from the current manufacturers. As Shabby J said, Excalibur's QB's are great, they do not break at the ankle, figures are great, and the bases are workable. I just don't understand how one can be disgusted with a company that is actually ahead in the game, when looking at how long it took Miggle to get to the point of producing stamped helmet NFL teams. Miggle still hasn't produced a decent game board...how long has it been? If Excalibur comes out with a great product, then it will just be the gravy on top of what we already have.

OK but this company must have to be honnest with their customer if they want to keep the business. Let me ask you a question. If at the beginning, Excalibur was honnest with us and told us that this would be much longer than anticipated, then i'll understand but you can't pushed back again & again & again, do you think that peoples will still upset against them?

You and Shabby J have some good points but i'm still upset against Excalibur. Is not that i'll never buy some MF item from them (you're right about the QB. they're solid and great!!) but they ahve to shown some respect and stop to pushed back until 2025 to make theses things done

Respectfully

I hear you Ben. My question to you is...who have you spoken with??? Are you taking the word of the min wage idiots in customer service, or do you have word from a higher authority? I overstand your frustration in anticipation of new products...I just feel that blasting, or voicing a negative opinion on a public forum ("I'm done with Excalibur") could possibly detour larger manufacturers from dealing with a specialty group of hobbiest like us. It is easy to produce ef/mf crap, and make $. I would like for a company to eventually take interest in what we doing, and step up to the plate and make the products we have been craving for years.

Default Time Will Tell

Ben,

Give Excalibur time to show what they can do. If they are about the business of getting things done, they will come through. If not, that is an indicator that they weren’t worthy to begin with. If Excalibur is successful, fine. I will support them. If they are not, it’s fine by me. As I said before, I am not worried about when they launch their products because we have the resources here among us already. So chill!

Maurice

Default Patience!

Hang in there Ben. We've got plenty other products to choose from until Excalibur gets their act together. Patience my friend!

Default Who cares!

Hey lets face it, anyone who is really into this paints and details their own figures anyway. The stuff that companies mass produce is shoddy at best.
So big deal the helmet is stamped..how about the rest of the details? Lines not straight, paint smuged, flashing not removed from figure, lack of detail in mold, heck you could come up with a bunch of reasons why the massed produced pre painted players are not worth buying.Get in the game...start painting and see how fast you are creating beautiful life like detailed players and teams, once you get the hang of it you'll be hooked. Now for those who just can't paint or don't have the time, buy them already painted and detailed from the guys on the site, yeah they cost more but they are worth having if your into the game and hobby.
You can order some great looking unpainted figures from Buzzball,Football Figures.com and of course Miggle plus several others so get into it and quit worrying about companies who could care less about your business
If want to play like the best make sure your teams look the best
START PAINTING!

Default Give Excalibur A Chance!

Comrads:

These guys are novices to the sport. Let's forward our questions and concerns to them, give them time to respond, and take it from there.

Hey, Miggle doesn't have the license anymore. These are the new guys on the block. Let's try and work with them.

At least, that is the attitude that I am taking.

Carpe Diem,
Paul Leslie Gardner
