Do you use your favorite team as your miniature football team ?

First of all you have to have a team that you are absolutely passionate for. Some people are just N.F.L. fans or whatever, and that's all well and good. Some people just love watching good games and in general love watching football no matter what. For me, I had one passion after the Oilers pulled the reign from the Cowboys when I was a boy. Since then I literally fell in love with the Houston Oilers,the name, the colors, the logo, the cheerleaders, and everything about the Oilers I could watch. I can truely say from experience that playing with a team you have that much love and passion for, totally makes all the difference in the world for me. That's why I drive 2 hours to play.Even more so now that I no longer have my Houston Oilers to watch every Sunday I kind of have this game to bring it all back. Believe me, I've never had so much fun and passion since playing at N.D. So yes Jeff, how many times have I told you,but it's like talking to my wife. She don't listen either.
I have just one more thing to say "Run Billy,Ruuuuunnnnnnnnnnn"!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong I still try to do my best with my current team, I am just not fired up at game time.

In solo-football it doesn't matter, but in league play I have never used my favorite team (Redskins) so I don't know if it matters.

I build a new team just about every year. Not because the old one was not good, but it's my way of staying sharp and current in the hobby-sport. I get enjoyment out of all the aspects that it keeps me into it.

I get passion from that...seeing it from the ground up. I become more passionate as the team develops the chemisrty to become good enough to win it all.
This season in the BEFL, it will be the first time that I use the same team in back-to-back seasons. They are the defending Champion Arizona Cardinals that you have seen on the board.

I never cared that much for NFL teams, I have always been a college football fan. Growing up in a college town, I loved college football. So when I started painting teams they were all college teams. So when I had the chance to play in a league, I choose the Browns and since then they have grown on me. I admit I love coaching this team. But I will coach other teams, like the Bengals and Lions at Tournaments.

I have a dilema in choosing my team for the MPFL. i LOVE THE TEXANS AND DOLPHINS. But alway's wanted to play with the white c chi-cago bears. My favorite team growing up were the vikings due to sir francis. I am also loving the eagle's uni's. WHAT DO I DO ? I can't say go with the heart because i don't even know were thst is on this. Texans are made, dolphins are half made(MPFL REQUIRES TO FULL TEAMS),BEARS ARE MADE but helmets have to be changed to the white c
