Default A true All inclusive Electric Football event.

Hey My MFF family:

I was wondering since there is a new wind a blowin', and since we as a collective hobby are trying are best to close the gaps between us, I feel that one way to do this is an event where the hobby can displayed enmasse, together in unity, faith , fellowship & fairplay, not to sound like the the Great Martin Luther King, but I do have a dream where the hobby can be displayed in all forms, something where we still get ready for the Brawl, Shootout, Buzzfest, Bama Blast and The Show, but this would be so much bigger a full blast representation of all of what EF is all about in all forms. Where BB, Migle & FF.com are right next to ForUtoHate, & Larry Walker & Chris Robinson. An event where we could see True Champions in every style displayed Something where we can finally stop deviding ourselves and start multiplying our numbers with new and interested new hobbyist. I know I am not the first to think of this kind of idea, but am one guy who does believe it can be done. With the help of the entire Hobby. Reg has taught me that at times you have to hype, hype , hype what you want to present, what better way to attract new coaches, sponsorship, media attention, charities, youth interest and so may other things that we could benefit from by doing this, the Miggle Conevention may be Big but im thinking bigger. Something that you really would save your pennies to attend, something that every year you look forward to. because you know and understand that the entire hobby would be in full blaze representation. Imagine the MPFL area, then the Shootout Stlye area, down the way the TBA Style section, the NHVL area just around the bend and then traditional Pitch and Pass at the other end, and included would be every manufacturer weather large or independent, classes from Hill Billy, Tweaking Seminars, Startegy taught by Style creators, and then a Gathering or Meet & Greet from coaches form around the country and the world. Now I understand that an Idea like this won't be easy but it would take big thinking and even though My Name' de Plume' is Biglock I need everyones ideas on this one, please respond if we together plant the seed it shall grow. Peace.

This is one of the main priorities of the Coaches Association. I know most of you cannot see anything going on in the Coachs Assoc forum but there is already alot of discussion taking place and what Biglock just mentioned will be high on the agenda.

Hi Biglock,

This is a very good post and if my memory is correct you may have done a similar post in the past. To begin with as Weirdwolf said previously this is one of the priorities currently on the table with the members of the Coaches Association. Hopefully this will come true one day down the road.

My take on this is that as we know our hobby is VERY diverse. As a result of that EVERYONE has a place in the hobby when it comes to styles, figures, and anything else. The diversity in the hobby is here to stay and it is time that we all ACCEPT the diversity. If such an event would ever take place with at least half of what you mentioned in your post would do a great deal for the hobby and eventually would help to PROMOTE THE HOBBY. Of course this can't happen overnight but I am optimistic that it can happen.

Thanks for the post and hopefully the spirit of the Coaches Association can one day make this inclusive electric football event a reality.

I try to stay out of these subjects as much as possible but when I read something that is DEAD ON TARGET I must reply.

"The diversity in the hobby is here to stay and it is time that we all ACCEPT the diversity."

This is by far the best thing we could all do to preserve the hobby that we love.

Thanks Coach J for the excellent view point.
