Default Weirdwolf: Can a section about Systems be...

created?

FrustratedFinsFan was right on. Everyone is passionate about their systems and this would be a great section for guys who want to talk about systems. Then those systems can be discussed there. Maybe a subcategory for NHFL Talk, Shootout Talk, MPFL, Rules 2000, Solataire Talk, etc. By doing this, you will allow those who want to discuss those particular rulesets to keep those comments in there.

I love talking on the Shootout Rules system and I can sometimes be anal for that system. So when question arise on that system, maybe me, Norbert, Mike Robertson, RJ, or any expert in that system can offer insight. I don't know? I am just trying to keep the petty arguments about various styles in those pockets. Then, those that know what goes on in those areas have more of a hint of not going there or going there if you so choose?

Just a suggestion off of my friend, Robert Runnels (FrustratedFinsFan) patented suggestion.

I have been thinking about such a thing for the last couple of days and FFFan reconfirmed my thinking. At the very least, it would give us a place to send some of this stuff. It would probably need to be sub-forums of the strategies/rules section. It would be nice to have at the top of the sub-forum for each ruleset the actual updated ruleset stickied at the top. Each ruleset could have an expert on that ruleset as its moderator and they would recieve an email or notification when ever there was a new post in that section.

More thoughts from anyone on this?? I believe this has potential.

Default Excellent Idea

This is an excellent and very innovative idea. it will be like a sTYles talk show. A styles moderator is an excellent idea. Those who don't care for a paticular style should have no business in there. Also, will it be known who is in there at the moment to all or who visitited to take a look. Also, this would be cool for those interested to express idea's and share league info under this roof. This way, if an argument comes about in a certain styles house, we can ask why was that person in there causing trouble. If a person enters a styles house and causes trouble, he shoUld be banned for 2 years for TRESPASSING.

it is very neccesary to separate things on this chat board in regards to what people like. IT WILL BE LIKE A MULTIPLEX MOVIE THEATRE, GO SEE THE MOVE YOU WANT TO SEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HOPE THIS IS DONE VERY VERY SOON.

IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET CUTE, WHAT ABOUT A SECONDARY PASSWORD FOR ALL WHO WANT TO ENTER A PATICULAR SITE.

I don't want to get to crazy with it as far as passwords and trespassing but a simple division orf rules in sub forums might make it easier for new coaches to find their way to one of their liking.

What would the ruleset divisions need to be and/or do we leave it up to anyone (MFCA Member) who wants to sponsor a ruleset and be the moderator for that ruleset just ask to have their own rules sub-forum?

This can happen very quickly once I have the rules sets and who wants to be the moderator of that sub forum.

Limit the sub forms to the following at first and grow theme as needed:

Shootout
Buzzball/Buzzball
Any Touch
Front of Base
MPFL

There are a lot of rule sets to use as thread topics, they can all be compiled and then sorted through in my opinion so none are over looked.

Trespassing is a bit extreme, the way I see it is that these threads or areas are created so that there can be debate and pros/cons discussed, etc... but yet no clog up the Tailgate area.

Penalties for trespassing and separate passwords is the wrong approach Dre. You need to be able to let guys hash it out, in a respectful manner, while keeping the MFCA integrity in tact, but it will be off the main page, that's the point I am making.
