i have some let me know what you need. i have the cheerleeders bases with the magnet under them. i have 20 of them they are great because they are a bit smaller than a regular base with a rounded front. great for dodging blitzers pm me if you want some.

Actually, I understand why but I went away from magnets to just a prongless base. I also use prongless bases on the defensive side as well. The reason is that if the QB is standing in the pocket on a magnet and a defensive linemen gets a push on an offensive linemen and the o-linemen backs into the QB he is held in place and the two (o and d linemen) are stuck (Norbert taught me this. It's a rule in the GLEFL). A prongless base (with just a little bit of weight added) allows movement of the QB and a continuation of the linemen pushing through. On the defensive side of the ball I use to use stationary men on magnets in the secondary to simulate a zone. Well, either the reciever or DB would run into the stationary figure on magnets and stick to him. With a weighted prongless base a receiver or db can push right through or slide off of him much easier.

Would be interested in seeing how Marty T's cheerleader bases would work. How can I get a few of those?

There are two sides this, I use a TTC base with no dial and the rear prongs removed on my stationary QB, since my home field is a 308, magnets are not an option.

The other 5 or 6 fields I play on regularly are metal and my stationary QB works fine on them, however I have taken a few sacks on the metal fields because the QB moved slightly with the vibration and I have seen a lot of sacks on a metal field that would not have been had my stationary QB been on a magnet and was able to stay in place.

Shabby, have you tried to add a little weight to the base (if allowed in your league)? I add a little putty under the base to help keep it some what steadier. This is in solitaire play so I don't know how this would play in leagues and tournaments. I use my imagination to view the qb moving around in the pocket going through his progressions. Don't want a lot of movement though.
