When you're at home over the XMas Holidays
Do a little experimenting with customizing of players. It is therapeutic and rewarding. I had Robert Jackson here last weekend and he got to saw my lab area. He wanted to know how to make linemen. Of course, when you have 8 different types of linemen, it can be overwhelming at first to create and show.
Needless to say, he left with a new found appreciation for ice water and lighters and the versatility of what I do with the figures. I think I showed him some 300 different poses just lying around that I had created from real life athletes. He said he would go home this weekend and beginning choppin' and dicin'. Hopefully, others will get involved with this new aspect of the hobby that can be rewarding and therapeutic. There is a certain "rush" you get when you bring a player to life from pure limbs. The transformation can happen within minutes and the results can be one of beauty. So give it a try this Christmas holidays. Reginald Rutledge |

I actually just bought a jeweler's saw on ebay and plan to experiment with a player or two soon.
I still can't paint and have no plans to, but I thought I would try to make a new custom figure or two. |

Me too!
I've started working on a team with a few customs poses. It really is fun AND therapeutic.
