HATE is such a strong word. Let's just say that there is only one team that I despise, loathe, and detest. This team nauseates me to no end. They make me feel nothing but contempt and revulsion. The sheer mention of their name is an abhorrence to my being. I'm repulsed everytime I see them......

Of course, I would go back to loving them as soon as I could find a way to beat them.... :o

As for the 70s and 80s, the Cowboys did go to the playoffs year after year, but the Dynasty teams of the 70s and 80s were the Steelers and 49ers, not the Cowboys. Well these dynasty teams had to do battle with someone. besides, they got their dynasty signature during your previously mentioned regular season statistics.

And yes, I was a Don Majkowski fan. He wore the green and gold. He was a pretty good QB for a few years. He was part of one of the most memorable games in Packers' history with the "Replay Game" against the Bears in 1989. But you can't be cracking on Majkowski when Ryan Leaf wore the Cowboys blue, can you? Ryan Leaf was a dud, but only for a few games, The Majik Man was supposed to be the savior.

Besides, you should give the Packers HUGE love for the Cowboys winning those Super Bowls in the 90s. In 1988, the Packers won the final game of the season on the road against the Phoenix Cardinals. If the Packers had lost that game, they would have finished 3-13 and had the first pick in the 1989 Draft as they would have "lost" the tiebreaker over the Cowboys (who also finished 3-13) to be the No. 1 pick. The Packers would have taken Troy Aikman No. 1. With that one forgotten win in a meaningless game in December 1988, the Green Bay Packers changed NFL History for the Dallas Cowboys. No, the Packers still would have drafted Tony Mandarich to protect the Majik Man Majkowski. Dallas still would have gotten Troy. and i give Herchel Walker HUGE love, cause he is why Dallas won all those SuperBowls during the previously mentioned regular season statistical era above.

Speaking of changing NFL History, if Troy Aikman had been drafted by Green Bay, perhaps Ron Wolfe would not have been hired as the Packers GM in 1991 and he would have stayed with the Jets, and maybe the Jets would have traded for Brett Favre instead. It is ironic that the Jets finally get Brett Favre this year when they probably would have had him in 1992 if only the lowly Green Bay Packers would have lost that Cardinals game.

I don't know....we could disagree until the end of time or the Lions win a Super Bowl, whichever comes first. You obviously have a lot of passion for the Cowboys. But, I will say this. Majkowski did not become the "Majik Man" until 1989 when the Pack went 10-6. Majkowski and Randy Wright shared the QB position in 1988. They were not sure at that time what they had or did not have with No. 7 yet.

A few years ago, I had correspondence with Cliff Christyl, who wrote for the Milwaukee Journal covering the Packers since the 1970s He said that the Packers would have taken Aikman as he was clearly the No. 1 choice over TM and Sanders.

I don't like using the word HATE but the team at the top of my list who I can't stand is the Patriots. I don't have a favorite team that I pull for but instead I ALWAYS pull for the team playing against the Pats. Even though Tom Brady attended a high school that is only 10 minutes from me I still can't stand the Pats. Thanks to Jerry Jones I do not care much for the Cowboys either. Even though I live only 30 minutes from Oakland I feel the same way about Al Davis and the Raiders. Still these two teams are not even close to my dislike of the Patriots. When the Raiders play the Pats I pull for Oakland. When the Cowboys play the Pats I pull for the Cowboys.

Default Teams I hate

I remember reading a good article once that sports promotes healthy "hating." It's fun to hate the Cowboys and Vikings (in a sports kind of way). Just as I'm sure it's fun for Cowboy fans to hate the Packers, Redskins, or others.

Hating/rivalries usually mean that you've done something right. After all, the Lions are pretty hard to hate, they're just kinda pathetic year after year.

Default oooo....

Where to start...
I am a Giants fan, and a Queen's University Golden Gaels fan...

I hate the Patriots (a little bit less now...because i can laugh... 18 and 1 baby!)
and i dislike the ravens... dont know why.

As for the Gael Fan in me... I hate the Ottawa U GeeGee's (they have knocked my Gaels out of the playoffs TOO Many times...my girlfriend went to Ottawa U it makes for some tense games)
...and I HATE the University of Waterloo Warriors: with no possibility of playoffs they hit our league MVP record breaking BEAST of a running back LOW [right in the knees] on the first play of the last game of the regular season and hurt him for the playoffs...thus allowing the F-ing GeeGee's to put us out of the playoffs...GAH!!!

...ok... now i need to go calm down... 2008 Yeats cup should have been OURS!!!!

Default some funny stuff.......

I don't really hate these teams, but as a Redskins fan I hate them in the sports vernicular-

Cowboys (natually)

49ers (stole our thunder in the 80's)

Giants (step on us a lot more than Dallas)

teams I have extra love for....

Lions (always a win for us)

Falcons (the same as the lions)

Steelers (doing it to the cowboys)
