Thumbs up Great Topic!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really do not have anything to add that has not already been mentioned in previous replies on this post. But, I just wanted to say that I believe that we are going in the right direction. I am sure that any coach in favor of the advancement of this hobby agrees.

Thanks so much for spear-heading this effort!

Default Great Thoughts

I would Love to see you guys pull this off, my personal opinion. You have Guys who will not even show up to other people’s events, leagues or whatever is going on because they 1 do not like the rules or the people who show up. These are only plastic men not a family member or a close friend. We, me included need to get to the point in our life were we can get past things of small stature. It makes me sick because you don't agree with someone’s idea or what they think. I know a guy right now who will not come to any buzzball events because he had disagreement with a tournament committee member. So this is the little tick for tack stuff that goes on in this hobby that people don't know about but me being me I’ll put it out there so the public to know. This really needs to stop and be men not men with skirts. Please I ask put your differences aside and make this happen. We can’t have to many Big Chiefs and not enough Indians. This is just my 2 cents.

Bump...I came across this post in a search. Look how far the MFCA has come in less than two years!

UNITY isn't about the rules, the figures, the boards, etc. Its about the people and supporting each other and the hobby. This has got to be a "hall of fame" thread.

Default long ago......

in philly we tried to do this with coaches from across the nation. it would be cool if it can get off the ground and work.
but as you can see, some one mention coming to VEGAS to have a convention,
but no mention of any of the teams or league on the west coast. UNITY has to include all regions. as it was I was the lone rep. from the west in PHILLY. I have been waiting to try this again. I will get with a lot of you in CHI-TOWN.

Default WHO'S STIRRING IT UP NOW?

I guess I'm rubbing off on you a lil bit MJ! Just like the BIBLE the intent of this thread - Unity - has been abstracted so many different directions it has the potential of making a great stage performance. Some of the replies just crack me up. Yeah, it's too bad we can't all get along, but thank goodness for free will and choice.

Default As a Player and a hobbiest

I would like to put my word in, if a may. When I first got back into EFL 3 years ago, I was amazed with how far the game and the hobbie had changed. At that time, all I knew about was Miggle.
Then, at my 1st convention, I bought of team of 49ers from somebody of whom said the Decal Master had made them. I was inspired to upgrade my skills to make simliar teams for myself and my son. But, I did not know who made figures, decals etc...In time thanks to many of the members of the MFCA Lynn, MIke Guttman and others, I found the tools to enhance my interest in the hobby.
Over time I was put in touch with Beenutt, Mike Beal, George Diamond, Reginald Rutledge, DeWayne Jennings, John Larue and others. Thanks to all of them, I am totally involved in making quality teams.
I love the game but, I love the hobby more. Without all of you this would not happen.
I WANT TO THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU AND TO ALL THE OTHERS OF WHOM I HAVE NOT YET MET. For without you, I would be much poorer ( and I am ). But, I love it.

Merry Christmas everyone and happy new year

Mark Francis
