How long does it take me to paint a team??? Couldn't you ask an easier question, like "What is the meaning of life?" or "What does a woman really want?"

I used to be able to sit and paint for hours at a time. Now, I can paint for about an hour and then I have to get up and do something else for awhile. I would guess that the 'overall' time to do a 30 man team would be around 30 hours. I'm thinking 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there. Basically, I paint one thing like the jersey on all the figures, then let them dry over night. Then I paint helmets and let dry, etc. By the time I'm finished, anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months have gone by. But if I was to condense the time into only counting the time it actually took to paint, I would guess about an hour per figure. That's just a guess though.

Looks good so far take you time and I will look for the Saints
Boston, I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

Mike, the Excalibur works prety good when it works.

Plus the teams come with 13 men a piece. I've found that some of the bases are pretty good too. TTQB sucks though (even though I have talked to some people who disagree). Too flimsy. At 30 bucks you might as well grab a few if not just for the players.

Also, it's good to let the little ones play on so they don't mess up your good stuff.

Iron Eagle,

Excellent first attempt! Take the recommendation that Al gave you and apply them to your next team. Plus learn how to thin out you paint. Once you master this you will really see how you can tighten up your work.
