Default Just saying hello...

Hello all,

I just wanted say hey and let ya all know I'm glad I was referred to this site. The other one appears to not be as active these days. (Not sure why)

Just a little background before I start asking LOTS of questions .

I played solitaire leagues back in the late 60's to about 71. Started back again when I found the Miggle site about 3 years ago but never really got going and lost sight due to layoffs, yada, yada, yada.

I spoke a few times to Green Bay Glenn and Mike Pratt back then for guidance. Great guys and I'm sure I'll meet more, both on this board and here in Ga !! The DSEFL has already contacted me.

Anyway, I'm back w/a vengeance now to buy, build, paint and learn all I can to get up to speed.

I have never played competitively or even against an opponent, so I would probably be embarrassed in league play. I never used the TTQB either...OH NO !!!

I have a good background in football as I played from age 8 through HS and College at Hofstra University in NY. Actually Wayne Chrebet went to the same HS and College as I, only many years later with a much better results...LOL

And yes, I am a very disappointed J-E-T-S fan, however, I've been in Atlanta for the past 15 years so I'm a Falcons fan as well.

I'll get to posting some questions soon and I look forward to chatting/meeting folks in this forum.

Regards and Happy New Year,

Joe Ramaglia

Welcome back!

Hoftra? JET fan?

I will be at across the street from Hoftra tomorrow when i go by my step dads house for the day. I will say hello to everyone for ya.

JET fan? One thing I AM LOVIN ABOUT NY MEDIA RIGHT NOW is that Brett Farve IS NOT getting a pass at all here. They give him credit when it is deservedly due, they even cut him a small break because of who he is, but by no means do they let him slide. THEY ARE POUNDING HIM RIGHT NOW his play performance that is no different than any other time his career that he was excused for. i love it!!!!

oh , this isnt very welcoming, is it?

Sorry about that, it was just on my mind at the time and i just had a tall cup of coffee. Hey, i am a Dallas fan, so you can fire away back at will.

But ask all the questions you want. check the tips section and rookie section first, many new guys have been on lately and charging up the board again , so some of your questions may get answered right away.

also, talk to some guys, make postings, read and ask questions before you go dropping money on things. make sure you know what you want to do and what you need to do. THEN, get info on what you want and what you need, cause this hobby can get pretty pricey for some things.

Go slow, take it all in, then, do your thing. its like wading into the ocean slowly, the water is cold so you stand at the shore, then you walk in slowly to your knees, jump with every small wave at your waist, then dive in and start doing the butterfly. yeah, thats how to approach all the goodies you can get here. and there are plenty baby!!!!!!!!!

enjoy the ride.

Scott

Default Solitaire is fun

Joe

The DSEFL had 4 coaches who played solitaire league play before joining us one of the coaches miss the playoff by one lost. But he was glad his tailback won the rushing title with 1154 yds for the season. He now working on his passing game with TTQB and Pass placement stick. Solitaire is fun but league play with the guys is great !!. Although most of us are between forty and sixty we enjoy being kids again.

Enjoy the comeback !!
