Default The MPFL Book is the DVD

The MPFL System started out in a book form, no one cared, every place I went I gave away more books then I sold. There was a time that if you bought the DVD it came with a free book until the supply ran out.

So the Book was turned into a DVD with 100% more detal and information.

The system was ment to spark the thinking and creativeness that is inside every one, to give them the frame work to be free without restrictions that will cause the game to be unbalanced.

Now some coaches want to be told all the answers they don't want to work/practice to get the answers. Like when we were in school, the teachers says there will be a test on Friday on chapters 10-12.

Some students will study, others will not, then one day befor the test they want someone to give them the answers. On the day of the test the one that have prepared themself will pass, the others will not. Well this system is the same way.

90% of you're questions are self answered. If it states " A tackle is made with the front part of the base " Then why ask me if you use the ITZ base and the defender makes contact with the side of his base on the runners base is that a tackle? " No !

A greate amount of time and detail went into the DVD to anticipate you're question and provide the answer befor you even know you had a question.

That is how I see some of the coaches. I want you tool feel the joy when you discover something through practice, and gain the understanding behind it, then to be a parrot, only able to repeat without the understanding.

Why can't you just take notes on the DVD? That is a good study habit

Why don't you just take an area on the DVD and practice it for a few weeks and get it down befor moveing on?

There is a line of questioning that I am waiting to receive from you, and that line of questioning will only come from practicing. If you don't pracice you will never know whatquestion to ask.

Practice build memory, and the system becaome second nature.

I have only 4 books left and they are not for sale neither will I give them away as I did befor. Page 24 in my book under Plays from Scrimmage " Magnets ": Magnets will be used to allow a player to hold his position while on the field. Offense is allowed 3, the defense is allowed 5 once a player come off the magnet he can not go back on the magnet, "Except the QB"

Is that in the DVD, Yes it is ! It is always six of one half a dozzen of the other, if I had books you would want a DVD, if i have the DVD's you want the book

The word of God is true when it says " The eye is never full of seeing nore the ear of hearing "

Default THE ITZ QUESTION

Ant,

The reason why the question was asked in regards to the ITZ base and it's TACKLING and RECEIVING is due to the base performance itself. As we all know that ITZ dial slides side to side like no other base. I thought maybe special provisions/exceptions were made for this one base alone due to it's unusual performance. The use of the ITZ dial was not addressed on what it can do on the dvd. So i asked to see if there was a special ruling in regards to it's use. I think in any league/ruleset, a special note should be made on the use of ITZ dials because they do not move like your typical base.

Default FRONT OF BASE

Dre: I bet you wondered if "front" meant the direction the base was going, right? I believe that irregardless of the direction the base is moving, there is still a front, back and 2 sides. So, tackles are made by the front of the base. If I'm not mistaken, that is a "standard" in all leagues that allow the ITZ dial.
