Default Bases qusestion.What and where?

What are the best type rookie bases to get for this style. How much tweakin do you do?Just flash em or squeeze them.Any good out of the box that the companies sell?In this style,IMO speed is the way to go,esp on defense.LMK--STT

Default Not to Be Repetitive

But i would have to say....look at a real NFL team and then Build Your team accordingly...not all fast teams win and not all strong teams win ...but when you have the right bases and or athletes in the right places with a team concept or scheme ......

The bases i would suggest are either proline rookies or the traditional rookies double clip or single clip and an occasional ttc base ...but remember not to over tweak the base(prongs) because you are playing weighted...too much tweaking of the prongs weakens them so that when you add weight the base just plops down and the weight touches the field which i believe is illegal ??????

Default STT DIAMOND OR MIGGLE

STT,

George diamond of buzzball fame has called diamond sped bases.(superfast). The great mike pratt agrees with with me that our favorite base is the miggle POLO GREEN bases. Out of everybase i have ever worked with(not that i am an expert) The polo greens are the fastest and straightest outside of diamonds. It seem you doon't have to really tweek the rookies bases that much(THE POLO GREENS). I have gotten many endzone to endzone bases out of that batch. i will post something later on pursuit drills that i just read ina book. (IT'S PRETTY COOL)

Pro Line strong bases (early runs) are the best bases I'ved ever used...not even close.

I like the all the TTCs from Miggle and the buzzball speed bases for those special teams flyers.

Default Pole green

Anyone know why the Polo green rookie is better than the other color rookies...just curious.

If you read my other post bout tweaking you can see I am on quest...I ask now because I am getting ready to buy some Miggle.

Thanks,

Joe

i think, but i am not sure, because the prongs are very stiff.
this would be a question though for a more mainstream part of the forum.
