Which Style bases to order- straight, rounded, or both?
I am planning on playing mostly solitare games, as well as casual games with friends who don't yet own teams; I will be lending my bases to them for games and would like the teams to be even. I have heard good things about the Proline strong bases, and will order some of those. However, I need to decide on the type of front for the bases. Should I go with all straight front bases, all rounded bases, or 12 straight and 12 rounded bases? I just would like to know what would provide the best gameplay with two eleven man teams (no specific offensive/defensive players). Thank you much!!!

get both
Rounded ones are better for getting through the line (kind of pushes players to the side or allows the player to redirect themselves around others when they make contact)
the Straight fronts 'stick' to other bases better. so Corners and the O line are good to have straight front bases (guys who should Engage and not let go). Guys like running backs and D-Line who will be blitzing are good with rounded bases. I am sure others know more about this than I do, but that is the basic idea behind the 2 styles of bases |

I might add that it would be a good idea to order a set of 2004 Polo Green, Teal, and Orange bases. Hope this helps.
