Chicago News Anchorman ?
Can anyone get the name of the guy from the news desk who commented after the news coverage of the Miggle Convention ?
The email address or actual address would be fine. I think he should be informed in a nice way that this game turned hobby turned lifestyle means so much to those who play it. It would mean that to the thousands who loved the game but are not aware of how it has evolved to what it is today. The communication should not be negative but informative. It should also be massive. This could be a very big opportunity for us. I can see Jimbo inviting the guy to come and open his eyes. Heck, he might even get him to join a league. How many others have said the same thing as the announcer said and now play and are even members of the MFCA ? RS

About Mark Giangreco
I am from Chicago. I know people that have had to deal with Mr. Giangreco. Im not sure if his comment was demeaning in any way however, he from what ive been told is an arrogant man, and not very nice. A member of my family had the unfortunate task of waiting on him when he purchased a number of suits at Mark Schales(upscale clothing store). He made nephew feel like a low life peasant, who should be thrilled about having to serve him. Unfortunately i havent had the pleasure of running into this man on my job, because i could give a rats a - - who he is, i would'nt give him a break if he treated me like that. Enough said, just realize who your dealing with.

Thanks for the info
He is probably frustrated because others figured out how to play and he didn't.
:-)

Not only Electric football but the whole city of Detroit !
Giangreco was suspended one week without pay in 2004 for a joke on the city of Detroit after the Pistons won the NBA championship. Giangreco showed a black-and-white movie clip of a city burning and said it was a "typical night for Detroit." Giangreco immediately said he was just kidding. Many who were deeply offended said his actions were racist, but Giangreco is known for his sarcasm and humor and some believe the joke was made in good jest
This came From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia after I searched his name. Frank, I think you are right. This guy is like the sleeping dog that is better off sleeping. We will find a news guy who will shed a positive light on our hobby. This guy does not seem like the one. RS
