Great Job Guys
Jimbo,
Thanks for the type of coverage a game should have! To finally get Matt Miller on the field....cool. Looks like arena ball has some promise. you have a couple of figures on your team that looks to be very effective. I just want to be sure I the right figures to make them... like that guy named Cooper. K-LO |

You're on Silverhorse!
LMK when you're coming and I'll leave the light on! You're right in saying it "looks" like fun, but I must admit that was one of the MOST FUN games I've EVER played!
*If you like scoring on almost every play... ARENA is it! *If you like to see 100 points on the scoreboard...ARENA is it! I am almost contemplating ONLY playing ARENA from now on. Lomax: Figure/base combo is key since they play both ways! You need a FB that can also play LB; WRs that can play DB and LB; and OL that can flip over and play DL! Can you say, "Ironman, Baby?" Last edited by JIMBO : 04-09-2007 at 01:00 PM. |

Cooper...
Hey K-LO
The Cooper figure is a Buzzball RB with his arm adjusted back so DB's can't "catch" him. The key to him though, is he is on a black proline convention base with the rounded front. I can't believe nobody uses them. They run pretty fast, smooth, and are hard to cover. hope this helps matt |

The Game...
The best photo is the last one...still friends! I can honestly say that I would've felt the same about that game even if my lucky TD on the last play hadn't happened. We played without trash-talkin or whining about the rules. It was true EF fellowship and just plain fun from the opening kick to the end!
Jimbo has created a great set of rules that are as perfect of rules as you can get to mirror the Arena Game. Everyone in EF has got to try it! The game is fast, easy, and feels like the quick-paced arena game. I want to thank Jimbo for a great time and hard work taking stats and photos. He was very busy! Matt "Barnstormer" Miller |

Jimbo....
.....I know Antonio personally man, and it was a trip to see him on your squad. I used to coach him at culver city pop warner. We had him playing RB, CB, FS, KR, PR, LB and anywhere else we could him him around the ball man. At 5'8 I tell him all the time that he is a special kid. He is real good friends with my lil cousin who also went to Dorsey High school in L.A. and played with him there. I will surely let him know that he is being honored in a hobby also and try to get you a autograph for your archives.

Funny story about autographs.
I went to every game the 1st 2 seasons that the RUSH were in existence and after every game they have autograph sessions - NO MATTER WHAT - even if they lost. After one of the games - the Indiana FIREBIRDS to be exact - two of the teenage boys that were with us (names withheld to protect their identities) raced around all of the tables, cutting the lines no doubt, and got all the player's autographs. I guess they were racing each other and/or us.
Next thing we knew they had gotten all the cheerleaders' too! Wait, they didn't stop there! While me, Edgar and Frank were in line to get Antoni Chatman and Lindsey Fleshman, these cats stroll up to us, look at our autograph photos and say, "That's all you got!?!" "We got ALL the players and ALL the cheerleaders already!" We all said, "So what!" Then, as if the same idea occurred to them both at the same time, they look back and forth at the picture of the cheerleaders and the young lady sitting next to Lindsey and back at the picture and then back at her. Before I could say, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..." they both bumped us out of the way and said, "Excuse me. Which one are you? We thought we got all the cheerleaders. Can we have your autograph?" AC looked at Lindsey, holding back a laugh, and Lindsey glared back at him. Then they both looked at us, who was looking at these 2 horny, audacious teenage boys macking on a PRO Football player's pregnant wife!!!! She saw all of us - grown men - gawking at these boys - Lindsey was ready to kill 'em, and me and Ed were trying to yank them back, when she said... ...in the sweetest voice she could conjure up, "Ok. He's not the only one that can sign autographs! You two are so cute!" We were all stunned and after about 30-seconds passed - the boys were still blushing :o - we all just busted up laughing at each other and Mrs. Fleshman just sat there rubbing her belly and giggling at Lindsey for getting upset. That's one of the biggest reasons I love ARENA Football. Those cats are real people, just like us. So, by the time I had painted AC and the '03 RUSH, AC had gotten picked up by the PACKERS! One day I'll get them all to sign their mini-me's. Most likely in N'Orleans at the ARENA Bowl in July! |
