Default Adrian Baxter and Michigan Joe

A Baxter,

The patent concept did began with the miniature football game and stadium but "morphed" into something more elaborate and far reaching than the game. I just now need to take the time to bring things to market and get some legal counsel when I know unscrupulous practices happen. But this is SO much bigger than miniature football but the origins of what I do was derived from my love of the game of miniature football.

Michigan Joe, as far as the patent number, I can get you that offline.

Default Wally, you have no idea...

how excited we are (Rose and I).

It gives us the opportunity to go after some things that we've been after for quite some time. It gives us legal protection on things and gives me the right to go after people or companies if I so choose to. My patent is represented by the 2nd largest firm in the Southwest and it was members of that company that made me go after this patent.

It's nice having that type of protection so yes, it gets serious as to what I can do. There was a movie that came out recently about a guy who invented the windshield wipers and I think, one of the car manufacturers tried to take it over without his approval (I've got to get that movie).

But you know, I've let a lot of people up in my house to copy things that are not of that big of a deal. This one is and that's why protection was needed! I did all the work, the research, but when the firm saw this, they felt that it was a slam dunk.

This is my 3rd patent and I've got one more I am working on. The 2 other patents are ownership of Nortel. I was just a "Member of the Scientific Staff" as they aptly put it.

Default Congratulations

Reg you worked very hard for this. When I stayed with you and Rose on my DFW trip, I would go to bed and you would be working on the stadium. I wake-up and you would be working on it still. Not sure if you ever slept those nights??
