Default Custom Ram Utility player RB...oohhraah

This is a custom old jersey Rams "RB" / Utility player that I created for my brother in law (a Recon Marine). I call him a utility player because I designed him w/ a little extra bulk to add some power, his pose is streamlined to prevent him from hanging up on other players so he can run through gaps as a RB or he can be used as a good defensive player. My brother in law is short so I boiled the figure pieces to shrink them a bit- then I glued them all together. I used miggle legs and 2 different FF.com poses for the rest of the body parts. Then I added depth to the figure by accenting the leg pads and mid section w/ clay.

The pics are not the best but I added decal "eyes" and a USMC bulldog tattoo on the fore arm. The entire figure is hand painted, the numbers are beenut decal numbers. Chin strap and face mask are miggle. Jersey name I did myself.

Enjoy

Default Nice work!

Good job coach! He looks good. I like the fact that you also had performance in mind while creating the pose. Have you weighed him?

Default Geno H

I do not have a scale, so I do not know the weight- he is already in the arms of the US Postal service so I could not weigh him if I did have a scale. He is very light (3-4g) I would guess- the sculpting clay I use is an air dry sculpty clay that is very light when dry.

I have used this to make shoulder pads, thigh pads, muscle tone etc- it has worked well.

Thank you for the comment- I always try to consider how the player will "function" when I am creating a pose- I consider what I want the pose "to do" then I begin making it.
