Default TRY THIS SIDE LINE VIEW WHILE COACHING YOUR TEAM

COACHES,

Most miniature football games are played LOOKING DOWN at the players as they perform and as you perform. I was toying with the idea of coaching at a higher level. What i did was take one of my players and looked at hime with a side line view. I held him up around the throat area then the heart. Extended your arm while holding the player near your chest heart level . Imagine if a board was that high while you stand up to play. It is just like a coaches view on a NFL sideline.

If you have some boxes to raise a field cover up that high try it. See how throwing a ttqb or tdq pass is different. You are actually throwing at the player close to eye level instead looking down and bending over on the board. Also, with the field up that high, you can enjoy your teams artwork even that much more. You can actually see the helmet decals and shoe decals and so forth as thee action is happening. It's more up close and personal. A big plus is your back will thank you at some point.

Instead of looking at the top of there heads all day, enjoy the action like an nfl coach. Sitting down and playing does not give it the same effect. I see a coach name marty t is designing tables for gameplay. I am not sure what the height is on these tables but they look great ! Just try it when you get a chance. Take a some card board or a tray in your house. Place a few players on there then extended your arms outward holding the tray between the heart and throat area. That's how an NFL caoch sees the game from the side line. I did this with my texans and those decals where in my face until i put down the tray. THATS HOW A GAME IS GOING TO LOOK !!!

TRY THROWING A PASS FROM BEHIND THE LINE OF SCRIM, YOU WILL REALLY SEE THE DEFENSE IN YOUR FACE AND THE ANGLES TO THROW THE PASS BECOMES QUITE DIFFERENT "YOU REALLY HAVE TO LOOK FOR TH SEAMS/LANES

Default Birds eye view

That is how anything miniature should be seen, train layouts take on a whole new look of realisim when viewed at eye level.Heres another idea that we have tried with great results:Get one of those remote miniature cameras they sell on Ebay and mount or hold it level with the field and check it out. Any TV becomes an instant Jumbo Tron.We mouted our camera on the end of a 1 in by 10 in piece of wood so we can move the camera into any postion we want ether above or from field level, what's really cool is people in the next room, upstairs or wherever can watch the game as it should be watched, from eye level. You will love this, makes the figures we work so hard to paint and detail come to life. The cameras are not all that expensive, they are easy to set up,the picture quality will surprise you and plus you can record the games. All you need is a little imagination,a willing camera man and the big game becomes...THE BIG GAME!
