Default EATS AT THE MFCA CONVENTION

WOLF,

When john picked up me and corey from the airport. On the drive to the hotel he mentioned there was a big RIB COOKOFF in the area they do every year. he asked us did we want to go eat there before going to the hotel. How can the mfca get in on that and transfer the ribs back to the stearn center. John said it is excellent stuff they put on. just thinking outloud but if we collected $10 from 150 coaches that weekend we could have a major feast no matter what route we take in regards to food. No matter what you decide we will be eating like kings. Should we do some real tailgating like they do in the nfl around the country. These guy's pull out the big guns in regards to food in places like green bay, cleveland, pittsburgh. I saw an entire show on tailgaters around the nfl and it was crazy what they cook up.

Friday night will be a big tailgate feed put on by Mallonn's. A local Packers Bar and Grill just 10 blocks from the center. They are catering to the Stearn Center. Bevarages will be provided as well of the adult variety. We are currently charging $10 to cover our tails but IF we can pull it off we hope to refund this at registration.

We have to have this taken care of in advance. The cutoff date to be included is July 24.

I'm also looking for a show of hands, how many are planning on taking us up on the staying at the Stearn Center deal?

Why pay somebody else for the food? Don't they have grills at the Stearn Center? If I remember correctly, last year we got some free hotdogs with the United Way event, so they were cooking somewhere. Soooo...... let's have some volunteers to cook, let's fire up the grills and cook up our own BBQ. We can charge a resonable amount and all the procedes go into the MFCA piggly bank.
