Default NFL / Miggle - Everyone Remain Calm!

Guys,

Remain calm. I have been on both chat boards reading the various rants about the expiration of the NFL's licensing agreement with Miggle Toys. All we can go on is what we know and that ain't much.

In business moves and changes are common. The truth be told, many of us were not very supportive of the products anyway. I myself haven't bought from them in about three years. A changing of the gaurd is in order at this point and something good will surely grow out of it. Miggle will likely regroup, sell out, or look at new and better ways to serve us which is what we wanted anyway right?

But guys please stop with the speculations. There are enough secondary businesses from footballfigures.com to 4buzzball.com and enough independent artists to fill any void that opens in wake of the changes over at Miggle.

This hobby I still believe is on the verge of growth and not stagnation although I do think we are on life-support at the moment. Things will get better and we as a unit will continue to make it happen.

I think with what Miggle has done for the hobby , bringing it back from the dead . We need to support them in what ever way they go.
Maybe I need to buy some bases from Miggle today to show my support.

You're right about Miggle resurrecting the hobby but it is really our job to continue to recruit new coaches which I am sad to say have been slow in coming. The products are there, but the numbers (hobbyists) are not. This may be the reason for the downsizing.

Something good will come out of these new changes and developments I promise you. Miggle will survive.

Let me add a final footnote to this. The NFL License is very expensive and you only get a small percentage of the total revenue. This may actually put money back in Miggle's pocket depending on how things go.
