Default To all CBSMF coaches

I just wanted to share my experience last night with my scrimmage.Detroitchild and myself went to Jim Davis house to hit alittle for the CBSMF.Jim knows the style because he played in the DFW.The BAM fellas knows to.It was pretty intense and funny. But if you are not use to clocks it will wild time for you.Not alot of time for substitutions either. We were laughing alot while playing but also sweating bullets. It was an eye opener of things to work on in this up and coming season.

I do love the fast pace.We play with clocks to but not for every single thing.I do like it though.Must be on your toes.Alot easier for coaches to make mistakes when don't have all day to think.

I heard the SEC division is doing there own little style of play.If you don't play the right way right off the bat or don't enforce the clocks come playoff time you will be in trouble.

Default I had a great time!

Learned a lot from both of you guys.

Trying to keep up with the clock was funny as h3ll. Next time I think my Tigers will have Wildcat for lunch and Longhorn for dinner.

Tell Norbert Grambing will have a little Dartmouth for dessert.

Seriously, I'm just looking forward to hanging with you guys to continue learning how to play.

'til next time my friend.

Default Yo....

....that's what I am talking about. The clocks do make a big difference in this style of play. You have to be thinking 2 plays ahead everytime because you don't have time to think what am I gonna do next because that clock will come down on you. Not to mention the workout you get. Keep a towel on hand folks. Now I run a hurry up offense in this style of play so imagine someone setting up on you in 15-20 sec.

However just think of running 30 offensive plays and 30 defensive plays. Man this will open a lot of eyes up to folks playing this style of play for the first time.

Default What about Me?

Why do always have to be DR Doom?

Seriously Though,

This will be great for improving my set up time and preparednes for when I play in leagues with less restrictive time limits. When I was younger I used to run play charts simulating Bill Walsh. Perhaps I'd better get back to charting the plays. So actually, I am looking to getting better at avoiding needless penalties and away from the complacency that comes with standardized rules.

Doom has Spoken!

Default RJ

That is the best part is all plays you will get. When Norbert came back that is one thing he loved also when we spoke about this style.Plus the speed of game makes people think.Mistakes happen under pressure.Great Lakes we play with clocks in the playoff and it is fast pace but not like this.I have wanted clocks enforce during the season to.

Kenny you in?? Say it is so!!!!!! : )
