QUESTION FOR YOU MICHIGAN FANS.
COACHES NEAR THE BIG HOUSE
The miaimi dolphins are my team along with the texans. Im hoping the dolphins land another WR to go along with Ted gin jr. The question is, once Chad henne starts to play, DOES HE HAVE THE ARM TO GET THESE GUYS THE BALL. If you could liken him to any past qb who would it be. Im looking for the dolphins to create a modern day MARIN0, DUPER AND CLAYTON. i AM IN HOPES THE GET HAKEEM NIX or percy harvin. IS CHAD HENNE A GOOD FUTURE QB FOR THE DOLPHINS. I never saw him play at michigan and was wondering about his skills. please let me know thanx mantaraydre

chad henne
Chad Henne is a very good QB, with a very strong arm with a lot of smarts. He start for Michigan from his freshman year.
Do a youtube search for him and watch some film, he throw a great deep ball, very accurate. Greg |

Chad Henne is the future for sure...I hope it is a good one. I have been a Dolphins fan since I was old enough to enjoy football. Pennington is a good QB, but his lack of arm strength limits the offense. Henne has a great arm. It is obvious the Dolphins will never give Beck another chance, and that is unfair. They threw him to the wolves as a rookie...with no O-line to speak of and a very mediocre receiving corps. Since he is not a Parcells recruit, he will be expendable...and probably will reward a team willing to take a chance on him. I bet he gets cut or traded for a very low pick.
Don't expect to see Henne play till next year at the earliest...we are "stuck" with Pennington for now. The guy played very well last year and it is hard to imagine him being put on the bench. I hope the O-line and ground game have improved enough to make the Fins competitive this year...they have the toughest schedule in the NFL this year. As for drafting a WR...I am all for that and I want them to take Heyward-Bey at #25 if he is available. If not, then perhaps Britt or Nicks. I fear there will be a huge run on WR's in the 1st round of this draft, and early in the 2nd round. This is one of the deepest WR draft classes in history...if the Dolphins miss out, then the staff is really not thinking clearly. Yeah...they need defensive players too....but the NFL is a passing league and you need that clutch receiver to move the chains, score from anywhere on the field and be tough enough to get yards after contact and go over the middle. Miami doesn't have that guy right now. |

Not bad
In a sense, Henne reminds me of Tom Brady....when Brady played at UM. Not spectacular but smart and good enough to get the job done. I don't know what that will translate into in the pros but they were similar in college.

Yep that's my thought. Get him some talent and he could be good.
