I have been thinking of the vibration of the field and how to expertly and accurately dial this in, especially when it comes to the number of motors, size, counter-weights and motor placement. I have been reading a lot on oscilloscopes to help wth this method.
Still trying to understand the X and Y axis and all the scientific stuff and hw best to utilize and baseline this stuff to actually test and see improvements. Good topic.

Understanding Vibration
A great deal of experimentation has already been done in this field by Ernst Chladni (a long, long time ago)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chladni His work which is most exciting and relevant deals with vibrating plates and acoustical wave properties across those plates. A great video of the plates in action...
