Default WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR CRAFT SUPPLIES ?

Coaches,

What is the name of the store where you get all of your paints and art supplies ?

In new york we have MICHAELS AND PEARL PAINT. Two great craft stores.

Im not sure how far michaels is spread accross the country, that's why i am asking whats the name of the store you go to ?

Default Shopping

In north suburban Atlanta, I go to Michaels, Hobby Lobby and the biggest of all, Hobbytown USA. Also, I frequent Walmart, they sell, AB and Folk art acrylics, balsa, etc, etc...

I go to Michaels and HobbyLobby for paints and brushes. I use Delta Ceramacoat paints and Royal Langnickel Majestic brushes. The paint is specifically designed for nonporous surfaces unlike most craft paints. I used to use the expensive miniature paints such as Citadel and Vallejo, but you can get 4 times the paint and 1/2 the price from your local craft store. The brushes keep their point very well and still have some nice spring to them.

Michaels for some things (magnets, brushes).

Walmart (Back-up netting)

Most paints and plastic stock from HobbyTown (Albany), J & J Hobbies (Kingston), Dutchess Train and Hobby (Red Oaks Mills).

Some purchases online.
