![]() This way I don't have the hose touch the surface after the paint is applied..
Oh well... It's my first misstake I just learned from.. I'm going to still play on it, I hope it'll level out after I lay the clear coat over it.. |

![]() Hey. Why don't you throw a little brown on the spots to give it a dirty worn look. Just a thought. That is the fun in doing it yourself. Trial and error.

So far Today, it's coming back to life.. But when it's time to stirp the stripes!? Aw Man!? it's gonna be a scare!? hoping I don't take alot of paint off with it.. I already know I'll have to trim each piece witha exacto to keep the paint from over peeling .. Here's a view of Round 2 ... This time, I went on ahead and painted the End Zones for it's first coat.. |

![]() Slow down your working to fast, spray in light layers give the coats time to cure before the next.Never try to get full coverage in one pass, If u spray in light coats this eliminates the build up around the mask lines thus a better finish when removing masking.Dont wait to long to remove, when the paint dries hard it removes paint around taped lines. Back up your to close to the surface creating hot spots.U control the paint dont let it control U.peace.MW

![]() Sideways most spraying equipment is designed to be used horizontally thats why your getting an uneven spray pattern. Careful to heavy youll get tear drops. Not to many customizers take on the challenge of had painting fields, most decide its either easier or less time to just use a field cover. if u need me call me im watching u hommie peace.MW

![]() Your right!? Field covers are fast and easy!?
But the only down fall about Magnetic ones i've witnessed after purchasing 2 of them is, they bow up on the ends raising up off of the metal!? So? that's why i'm going this route now.. I purchased a nice Air Compressor paint gun from Hobby lobby and will stick to the plan of trying to be like MW! Showing my Patience will grow on me with the more surfaces I get to do.. Anyways, if you got some good Idea's you could give me besides the ones I asked you about already don't hesitate to call me on my cell Phone.. 405-213-6843... I can't sleep!? my Air won't get fixed until tommorow, so I went fishing for a couple of hours because it was cooler outside then in the house lol. Now, i'm sitting here wide awake because of it being muggie..lol.. I'm glad it's only been out just one day because the heat has just gotten thick down here.... |

![]() Keep doin what your doin, I can see a lot of the same issues I had when I started, including not much of a interest for what I was doing. Some times you have to go find what your seeking, I have no doubt we'll cross pathes, and when we do youll be much further along then where u are now no doubt.peace MW
