Design vs Designer

Hello coaches and community . Befor reading further I want to first ask that you try and understand this post befor you make a comment , as this is not ment to up set any one nor is it ment to .

Some of you may not like me or understand me and that is alright , but I request that you respect the hard work put into the MPFL system .

It has been brought to my attention that there are some in this community who desire to play under and or bootleg this design with out obtaining it through proper channels .

All of this community has benefitted from my passing design even though it's not being used in the manner it was intended .

There fore I'm asking that those of you that have an issue or misunderstanding about me to please put it aside and focus on the small portion of my work , ( " Pass Placement " ) that has dramatically changed how passing is done in this hobby today .

MPFL system was designed to advance this hobby , not to please the current community , there is a difference . Don't get me wrong , I'm not pounding my chest , or anything like that , but rather focus on the design and not the designer .

Many of you will run to find fault in someone or something , befor you try to understand them or it . Your quick to criticize and not give credit , quick to tear down and slow to build up , quick to take and very slow in giving .

So please think about this the next time you take someone's idea without asking them for permission and conforming it to fit your need . I think all inventers and designers are due this respect .

If the goal is to unite this hobby then what better way to start than to honor and respect those who have given to this hobby so that you might benefit from it .

Anyone that invents something that makes the game more realistic needs to be given their props!
On a side note, I found your post harder to read than others you posted. The script was small for my old eyes I had become accustomed to your larger script.

Holy Cow....what a freakin' ego you got!!!

You want credit......fine.

You also want everyone else to bow down to "your" system.
You belittle anyone that doesn't agree with you...now you blast those that like your system enough to use it.

You have NO....let me repeat NO...legal case at all. It is a game. You do not profit off of the game of EF...so what damages do you have? Also, if you did not copyright your rules or your system (which, I would admit would make you even more of an ego freak)...you can't fault anyone for taking anything.

Everyone plays under different modified rules of play...so does everyone have to copyright their specific style? Do we now charge others to tell them of new ways to play a HOBBY?

AGAIN....your "system" generates NO profit (and if it does...do you report it to Uncle Sam?).....what can you sue for!!?? What monetary damages has the unauthorized use of your (uncopyrighted) system cost you??!! ). Do you sell the right to use your system in the marketplace today? If you do...you're an egomanic...if you don't...you have no case. Either way....dayum...I can't believe I'm reading and debating such a ridiculous issue.

I know you like your "system" but we're not talking about the invention of the fax machine here. It's a style of game play used for a hobby. End of story. If you want to be a grinch and not let anyone else play your way....QUIT TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT IT. Then you can get back to blasting everone for not being open minded enough to pay the necessary fees in order to try YOUR way.
