Default Putting Down the Paintbrush

Finally finished my last project for a customer and plan on taking a big break from painting/customizing while I focus on tweaking and the GAME.

I've reserved time to get down on the board, with an arsenal of tools (Sears Pliers, and pliers I bought from Al-Karim-GET THESE PLIERS IF YOU DON'T ALREADY HAVE THEM!!! GOLD!!!). It's nice to see it come together, results, so encouraging!

My team will be ready for BUZZBALL and the NHFL, this is the first step. My next team, STEELERS Home and Away (sweet customs etc), full squads, will be for quasi-universal play, MFCA Con, etc.

After three years, finally...

It Feels GOOD!!!

It's always nice to take a break from either painting or tweaking. You'll enjoy the change of pace. Have fun

I agree with Mike!

Your figures are awsome, some of the absolute best in the hobby, and its great to hear you are going to get these cats cleated up! This can be one of the most fun parts of the hobby. I am in the process of this right now and I love it. Make sure you have all kinds of bases...heck part of the fun is building diveristy into your team by using all kinds of bases (Proline rounded and straight, buzzball speed bases and DDBs, old school bases, bullet bases, frankenstein bases, etc.) Then once you have a team that you can play with, its great because you can always simply add to the team whenever you want to add that new rookie or free agent. Some day you may build a squad of Steelers 200+ deep! Thats my goal with my Wolverine team. I've got stock 3.2 squad and a customized players ranging from 3.0-4.0. I'm going to start keeping a roster with player name, base type, and weight. My biggest decision for building my team was to go offense in dark defense in white, but even with that you can build multiple offenses and defenses once you get your core team worked out. I will see you in Canton next year, save me a game!
Joe

Default sad to hear indeed

But allow some of that time to join the fantasy league again.

Cmon John, you havent signed up yet?

Get in there and get your helmet on, now that you are painting for a while. Santonio goes around the 5th round with Big Ben in the 7th. Tackle your boys and sign up with us again.

And your figs are awesome too.

Cool.

Scott

Default Awww man!

I was gonna get that Bill Walsh from you before semi-retirement. I understand though. Get those sorry Steelers ready so we can bang some plastic next year bro.

I think you'll enjoy prepping a team for battle. Oh yeah...I can't agree more about those pliers from Coach Karim. I highly suggest them.

Catch ya on the flip side my friend.

Thumbs up Cool!

When your teams are that sweet, the GOTTA play!

Plus, you can test the functionality of your customs. Perfect! Looking forward to seeing you on the field.
