Default Elfball

I just stumbled across this interesting oddity on the web. Couldn't help wondering if this could be adapted as a sort of non-electric miniature football game...

Default Looks Like It

Yeah, I'd say the core mechanics might be good enough. It certainly knocked some ideas around in my head.

Default reminds me Bloodbowl game...

it makes me thinking about Bloodbowl game too :

It is a very popular (almost "legendary" game in the fantasy wargame community) boardgame, a mix between football and fantasy wargame. You can win in scoring touchdowns, or...destroying the opponent team

It introduces Magic events too in the games. But on basic system, it's quite similar to football (strong orc or beastmen linemen, fast elve receivers, etc...).

I 'm pretty sure it should be mixed with EF, by the way. Imagine a sort of "The Box" system for special fantasy events (elf bones crushing, undead linemen raising, this type of things ).

the guys make custom stadiums too, BTW.

The similarity with EF is quite obvious, no ? I'm sure guys like Ravenn AL should find this interesting (and since the figures are 28mm scale, they should be compatible with EF for fantasy league playing).
