Default Instructions for making your own custom endzones..

I posted a couple of days ago about my Solitaire League and my Superbowl XXIV I had on May 20th. I directed coaches to the HHEFL website to check out photos I had posted and some coaches noticed my custom endzones I had on the field. Since then I have had several coaches wanting to know how it is done. Basically, it is a very simple process. All you need is a computer, a good printer, sheets of Avery Ink Jet Sticker Project Paper #3383 (found at Wal-Mart), Microsoft Word and a ton of imagination. I have attached both templates I have made. One is for 620 boards and the other is for your standard Miggle Superbowl board. When you open up the documents in Word you will see three rectangles with the words "put graphics here". Basically these three rectangles are your canvas. In Word you can click on the squares, change the color of the background, paste logos, make your own text etc. You will obviously want to delete the "put graphics here" once you begin to setup your endzones.

Furthermore, I included basic instructions within the template. In a nut shell, you basically put in your graphics, print out the document using the sticker paper, cut out the squares. Once you have your squares cut out, I recommend you just wipe down your endzone so it is dust/dirt free. Now you are ready to apply the stickers...

First, what I do is put down the left section first, making sure that the corners lineup with the lines on the field, then I put down the right section next. Finally, I put down the center section making sure that I line up both the right and left sections with the center section, before I put down the center piece all the way. You should have a small overlapping, as the center piece is made a little larger, so that to cover up any imperfections. The over lapping does not affect the men running in the endzone and the paper is the perfect thickness not to affect game play at the goal line.

That's it! Now the draw backs...the paper is reusable, however if you are not careful when you remove it, it can tear on you. The best thing I like about this paper is that it leaves little to no resuedue on the field when you remove the sticker. You peel it off and put down your next sticker!

I hope this helps and if you have any questions, then e-mail me at mmmculp@comcast.net or check out the photos at www.leaguelineup.com/hhefl

The Paper cost about $8 for 15 sheets....Good luck and remember...there are no limits to imagination. I also attached one example...Enjoy!

Default Thanks, Silverhorse

for saving me a ton of $$$. Now I can do my own custom fields instead of spending money on a field cover.

Talking Mid-Field Logos

Mid-field logos are not out of the question. As a matter of fact, I am just getting ready for my Pro-Bowl and I made a mid-field logo to cover the NFL logo. Also during my Playoffs, I used this paper for all kinds of different items to decoarate my field. I had my Superbowl Logos at the 30's and I copied the "playoffs" logo and put them at my 20 yard lines, just like the real deal. Just make sure you get them really flat and that the surface is clean, otherwise the players might get caught on the paper.
