Default I propose higher tables.........

We are not getting any younger(sad but true), and our backs are becoming an issue.

This weekend at the Bama Blast I heard several people mention their backs were hurting because the tables were so long. Now since losing weight is not an option , I think we should try playing on taller tables.

I also think the referees would make better calls because their vision would be better, and the game tapes or dvd's would be clearer and easier to see what is happening. The closer you get to the field, the better the view! Since our desire is to be on TV, this makes good sense to me.

Kansas Bill is a little busy right now, but maybe one of you handymen could build a prototype and let us know what you think? I would, but I would probably hurt my back picking up the lumber!

Man, I remember sitting in the floor for 12 hours propped up on my feet. How the mighty have fallen!

Default BuzzBall had them

Yeah,

I guess I'm older than most of you,.............. therefore, ....................I was making higher tables a few years ago, .................however,........ I discontinued them,.............but you can go to Costco or other stores and find adjustable banquet tables for about 60.00.

Higher tables is great but wouldn't it be easier to engineer some shorter coaches. I hear creating them can be entertaining!

Coach Rip, how did you like playing on them? I think I would like it and I don't even have back problems. Those pictures look like they are the perfect height for game play.

I looked for adjustable table legs... Found them.. but only online..

But if I remember correctly, they were about $20 a pair more expensive than the ones I got locally... (for the game table)...

But shoot guys.. everybody wants something till it's... there..
Why would I invest $$$ in more "stock" EF stuff so it can sit in my house?

You are right Bill. I hope I didn't offend you by using your name, I just know that you have the skills to create this sort of thing. I knew you had built some game tables, and I assume(by your comments) that they didn't sell too well. I'm sorry about that. I wish they had done better for you.

I really just wanted to know if anyone had played on taller tables, and what they thought of it. I guess I should've just said that.

Ah hell man...
Don't pay any attention to me right now..
I'm a bit stressed among other things right now.. I apologize to you.

If anything.. I'm appreciative that you thought of me as someone who could come up with a solution..

I've had to quit the Tornado Alley EFL so I can get the hell out of here. And chances are, 2008 NHFL will be OUT as well. So basically my life is on HOLD till I get out of Wichita and back to Kansas City.. Unless of course a miracle happens.. and.. it ain't gonna.

I love playing at "standard bar height" which is around 42 inches......... the only way to play,........... but, .............. when in Rome............ unless I can bring my own chariot!

It may be the only way I can play for now as I am experiencing neck problems AGAIN, may have to under the knife AGAIN, when I sit down, I get extreme pain through my right arm, and made this past Harrisburg College BuzzBall League season very taxing to play.
