Default RARE vs Dolphins scrimmage photos

Rare took on Lance's Dolphins in a TAEFL preseason practice scrimmage. It was the debut for both squads vs an opponent. It was obvious that neither team had jelled yet but both squads got in some needed game time under the lights of Butcher Stadium. No score was kept but 3 TD's were scored and a fairly short field goal could of been attempted. Probable outcome would of been 14 -10 Dolphins. Nick Buoniconti proved that he still had what it takes and made numerous plays all over the field. For the RARE, the backfield combo of RAW, HEIFER and COW showed good promise for a tasty future!

Check out the perfect QB rollout screen to Heifer for RARE's first TD ever. A sharp block was put on by BLEED to clear the path to the endzone.
RARE defense on the other hand needed some work as the blitzers just were not there and the D-backs blew numerous coverages as the one photo shows.

Default Blood and guts

I predict many gutsy performances as Rare makes cuts all over the field. Both teams look great.

Default I must say (after watching both teams up close and personal)

Lance's Dolphins not only look outstanding, and they aren't just a bunch of pretty boys, they will whip you in almost every way possible. Geno and Lance played another classic on Saturday, and it was Geno's turn to win, but Lance came back and spanked my team pretty good in the second game he had. Tough, hard-hitting bunch of players.

Lynn's fellas look really sweet up close too, but they are still working on some continuity issues after 2 games. I did some of thier stats during the game, and Chris made the RARE work pretty hard for first downs all game long. I'm confident that Lynn will work on these guys and they'll be a royal pain for the rest of us coaches later in the season.
