Fall Issue of The Tweak nearly complete-special thanks to...
First off...thanks to all MFCA members for their patience. This issue has been a real struggle for our staff, with everyone working overtime and having a lot going on. We are very close to completion, as we hope to have this issue in your mailbox by Thanksgiving, so as to show all your relatives when they come over for Thanksgiving day dinner.
At this time I would like to recognize some coaches for their efforts for this issue... Lynn Schmidt-tireless and relentless...another outstanding effort. Al Dunham Corey Johnson Ken Allen Michael Robertson Reginald Rutledge Michael Winegarden Cleon Tate Ray Fanera Thanks to these guys for another great effort. For the Winter issue, the staff at The Tweak is going to go outside our comfort zone for something new. It has been deceided to create an issue, specially designed with the new coach in mind. It will essentially be a "Beginners Guide" to getting started in the hobby...so....we are looking for articles to that end. Although we have covered most all of the topics related to miniature football...we will be looking more towards "game strategy" and basic team building for this next issue. This issue will still feature some articles that are for the veterns coaches, such as the "Legends of Miniature Football" etc. So I ask the MFCA veterns...put on your thinking caps...put yourself in a newbies shoes...and make a list of topics that would best serve someone right off the street. The goal is to be able to hand a newbie this issue...he or she take it home and be able to put together a team, based on article input. This is the essence of the MFCA...for article ideas or submission...you can send it to either myself at mmmculp@comcast.net or Al Dunaham at ravennaal@yahoo.com OR the discussion can start right here on this thread. All ideas welcome.... Thanks Matthew Culp Editor and Publishing Director of The Tweak
