Default Miggle tournament question

I need to know what can you do if you order miggle painted team for the tournament and some are over weight out the packaged. A couple of the 67 big men are over weighted according to the weight scale on the rules. The weight limit is 1.9 on one type of figure and I receive some player at 2.0 without me adding any facemask or decal. What is the total weight with base. Can someone give me an idea what can be done I paid extra money for overnight shipping. Will 2.0 make a different at the miggle tournamet hate to spend more money after buying decals and bases.

This was a hot topic of conversation last year. I'm sure Mike Guttman will answer this officially, but last year it seemed like Mike was very reasonable when it came to weighing in your players. I think that they realize that differing scales will give slightly different weights. I would think that as long as you stay within the intent of the rules by just adding decals and facemasks to the Miggle figures and not gob it up with clear coat or any other glue or substance, you will be ok.

Yes,

If those widearms come in right at 2.0 or just a bit over, and I see that nothing has been added intentionally, I will of course let it slide. I sent you a PM on what can be done. Sandpaper the bottom is probably your best option.

Mike

Default Question?

How about Miggle stamped helmet teams. What if you have gloves painted on, or just tiny detail stuff like that. The rules say no paint of any kind, but in my opinion...those rules are meant for those who put coat after coat on to get a weight advantage...am I right Guttmann?

Well......Dave and I are discussing letting anything go, within the rules, and Miggle figs/supplies only. I will try to get this done asap for all of you, and including me.

Sorry for the confusion.
