Default GREAT INFORMATION.

There have been countless times i would twak a base for a player and it just does not work ot. Then stick that same player on a previously tweaked base for someone else and he runs 100 yards to the house. IT IS VERY TRUE ABOUT THE PLAYER/BASE MARRIAGE. iT'S AMAZING HOW DIFFERENT THEY PERFORM ON DIFERENT BASES.

What's perfection foe that player. When do you know, ok, that's enough.
like electric coach said, sometimes you push the envelope lookng for more when you already have enough.

can a junk base be ressurected and brought back from the dead. ARE DAMAGED PRONGS FIXABLE THROUGH SNIPPING AND RETWEAKING ?

OR

THAT'S IT

PS/ONE OTHER QUESTION.

Do you guys take the back prongs off TTC bases sometimes ? I got some bases from geno with itz dials on them. I noticed there where no back prongs on the base. Just the prongs on the dial. The bases run superb. Does the back prongs in this case hamper performance ?

It was a humbling experience.

I am saying this to say be careful to not try and get more from the base than what it is giving you because you can ruin a potentially good base.

I cannot believe this is the first time this has happened to you it happens all the time when tweaking...may not be a lot, but it does happen.

I will say this, if you are tweaking for strenth but find speed - Don't over tweak the base, use the speed for another players and get another base and start all over again.

young tweakologist need to understand that you have to treat each base as a single item. what will get that base running may not work exactly on the second base from the same bag!!!

also, I have these recommendations for the young tweakologist to use:

1 - purchase at least 5 bases from the masters (don't just get 5 Hulk bases and think your on easy street) you need these bases for (a) to test your tweaking skills; (b) to have talent in case you never achive what you want

2 - gather up all the tweaking training info you can find and have it on hand when you go back into the lab.

3 - place bases on your team with their positions in mind. If the bases do not run on that player, just change the players.

4 - practice your new team and use all of the plays you like to run, work on your schemes, etc until you are happy with where you have the talent.

5 - don't be afaid to make changes. your DB is strong but slow, you may need to change him out for a player that can run; or a OLB that is fast but not consistant on his arc...rb can ru n to the right but has trouble going to the left...is that a starter or sub??? These are all the questions you need to find the answers to while you are in the lab and before you hit the field on Game day!!

figure + base = player

you have to develope the understanding (after many hours of tweaking) of when you have reached the "sweet spot" of that base. if you don't tweak a base to the ultimate, you can always come base and do some minor stuff to a base later.

you can ressurect a base if it has not damaged beyound repair. you can use fire to reshape a worn prong

Default Knowing When To Stop

No it was not the first time that I over tweaked a base. It's usually rare that I do this to a base. Most of the time, I know when to stop tweaking a particular base. This was a rare occassion for me. Thanks for reenforcing the tips for me. Sometimes we need to be checked from time-to-time.

Default ELECTRIC COACH: HERE'S SECRET #111.

Put that base (or all your overtweaked bases) in an icecube tray, fill it halfway with water, put one drop of vanilla extract in each cube and freeze for 3 days. Pop a few cubes in a glass of Crown or Hennessy (any dark liquor will do) and enjoy the drink while they melt. Rinse off and let them dry prongside down on a clean cotton towel. After that, the overtweaked prongs should not only smell good and taste good, they should be able to hold their weight again. Don't ask, don't tell.
