thanks for the tip

I'll stay with a unique TE, I don't need so much blocking people, in the games I played my line is very strong (never been sacked, but I sacked my bro 3times if I remember correctly )

questions for you
- do you work on your brother's team as much as yours??
- does his team get good bases on is "scoring players"??
- will you be developing is team in "your team's" image??
- what would you do if he got intrested and found a care package with bases that "run"...???

Hi,

1- yes, our current teams are quite the same : I tweaked everything twice, than make fair distribution between the 2 teams

2-as good as mine !

3-on the esthetic aspect, yes. On the tecnical aspect, I'm not sure.

I've got a plan for that : As soon as my "pro" 4.0 team will be completed (figs and bases), I'll make a game against his current "demo" team (fab5 + regular bases), and smash it, I hope. The goal is not to humiliate my bro, but make him interesting in the tweaking aspect and team preparation. The good old "stick and carrot" technic (I don't know if you know that expression in english).

Since I know my bro, I know he will want to upgrade his team to be competitive. So I'll give him spare bases to tweak on his own, helping him with my humble skills. I think it's a better way to involve him in the hobby than simply give him a "ready to play" team.

We can see the limit of the "ready to play" concept : even if our teams are balanced for now, I'm confortable with my own team (making sacks etc...) because I tweaked it and I know each fig on the field. Even if the games stills competitive because he observed how his team works, he doesn't have that advantage.

4- I'll adapt my own team ! If he becomes enough good and involved to force me to adapt, I'll be the happiest MF player

However, if he had some of the same types of custom players for his team, he will really want to get busy to try and crush you if he can.

He will be the future owner of a complete 22 players (and perhaps a little more "option players") Steelers team, roster 2009-2010, made with same quality care I bring in my own Niners team

the tricky thing will be to customizing, paint and detail them BEFORE december, 25th

For the base tweaking, I guess I can say that I'm not so bad for a newbie, even if of course I ruin about 1base on 3, and achieve really good ones only 1base on 3 or 4bases too...

Making fab 5 receivers running the 100 yards (42") straight in 6-7 seconds (with board power about 60%, without weighted bases), I can do it.

Making good strenght, I can do it too (I 've got a few sample N.Revells strong linemen bases, I can compete -but not beat- them on my board with my tweaked bases).

Making mixed strength-speed : I can't for now

Making good speed TTC bases: I can't too !

But I want to learn ! It's my vision of a hobby practice : make everything on my own

Default last quesh

...about fast proline TTC : do you think I should buy a blister of it too (even if I didn't plan to add in my team) ? remember I use weighted figures

thanks

ps : BTW, I added to my order a bunch of standard TTC...in case of I can't achieve anything good with the proline TTC (I 'll swap the dials, then).
