Here's some pics before I pose the masks and modelling flock. I varnished all the figs twice. I re-varnished the offense squad too, because the result was too "satin" (I don't know the term in english...the varnish effect was between gloss and mat) for my taste. Next pics will present the complete D squad and complete team ! |

![]() hey french guy, i know you are very busy, but what brush do you use for the very smallest lines you paint, can you put a picture of your painting brushes on here. i see a very very small black line on the sleeve of the defense, it looks very difficult to do. thanks.

![]() I use several diferent brushes, I explain it in that two articles :
http://miniaturefootball.org/2009/11...ng-for-battle/ http://miniaturefootball.org/2009/10...t-and-brushes/ the "pin stripping" technic I use is not so difficult. You have to make a fluid mix of black ink and black paint, an use a very sharp brush (3/0 or 5/0). You make black lines between the diferent colors aeras, to add detail and make better contrasts. It's an "old school" figure painting technic. ![]() Basically, I use that 3 brushes, wich I can consider essential. Sometimes, I use a 0 brush and a 1 brush, and very rarely, a very short hair 000 special brush. dimitri |
