A podcast is basically an audio file (or a video file in case of videocast) you can download and read with your mp3 player (like an Ipod, for example...it's why we speak about podcast). These files are often available by RSS flux (what is an RSS flux ? it's quite the same as a newsletter with richmedia content (audio, video, text)) you can suscribe, then you receive the news in a RSS player or modern email client (what is an email client ? well... ![]() podcast file content : often similar to a radio show (or tv show) content. Then, you can listen it on your computer, or your mp3 player. Since modern mp3 players are also video players, the podcasting is evolving to video these days. In one word, podcast is a recorded media content you can download. It's diferent than live streaming where you can see or heard in direct live some media content (ustream, web radios, etc...). |

![]() was supposed to be doing something like this. I talked with him a few years ago. He told me that was where he was heading, ........... I think he is also set up to do this. Maybe life got in the way, like it has a habit of doing, but, I do remember that he told me he was working on podcasts. Maybe he can assist as well.

![]() Dave,
That's a shame. I believe we could get one going howver if we placed it prominently on this website which is more active in my opinion. What do you think? Also, I think we need to do more than just interviews on EF. We can talk about football in general also. For instance off season moves, the draft, playoffs etc. Additionally, I think Podcasts work better when there is a co -host and they are done on a somewhat regular schedule. Once a month or something. One thing we could do on the EF front would be to interview the various commissioners of the EF leagues and giive a pre-season preview. Maybe do a Miggle re-cap. Just some ideas. I would be happy to help in anyway I could.

![]() First, thanks to Coach Rip and Mr. National for remembering me on this.
Iron Eagle, sure, we can get together and expand this. All your ideas sound good to me. Let me know what you have in mind. I can even be the "sound engineer" if you want to send me audio files. By the way, the above-mentioned podcast is on iTunes as a free download (I think). Look up "David Haydel" |

![]() Dave, Sean,
I think this is a great idea. I think now would be a great time to implement these suggestions. Podcast interviews on EF and real football would be a blast. Can something be done in time for the Super Bowl? I know we can have something in place for the NFL draft. The CBSMF starts in a few months and the Convention in Canton would be great. Let's do this. ![]()
