![]() T.D. finished that year with 703 yds. on 181 carries. He started out that season as the main ball carrier, and started very strong, yet when the Broncos realized that he was easily going to surpass 1000 yds, they cut his carries and gave them to Sammy Winder. See if he had surpassed 1000, the Broncos would have had to give Dallas a much higher draft choice for the trade. The next training camp, he blew out his knee and retired.
