Default THE QUICK PASSING GAME QUESH IN THE MPFL

ANT/JIMBO

I just wan't to make sure on this. Can you give a quick description of the quick passing game with the qb in the shotgun position. Pretty much throwing the ball on the second stop.

1) half back coming out of backfield ?

2) wr accross the middle (hOW MONTANA HIT RICE AND HE TOOK OFF ALL THE WAY TO THE ENDZONE)

3) te running a flag route

Just want to make sure on this so i may as well ask, thanx for the response in advance.

REMEMBER, ALL OCCURING ON THE SECOND STOP.

Default That should be your choice as a coach!

By throwing on an early stop you can better set your blocks up down field or develop a screen package. You can also be in a better position to make a catch because the DB will be in his drop and put you in a safer position to avoid an int..You have him release your WR and run a quick hitch or a stop route. Then see how fast his pursuit is and how the DB's tackle.Just my take on it--STT Dre'.play around with bunch formations and see how that goes.

I believe you can throw quick passes/screens/slants, but ALL remaining stoppages must be played thru after the catch, I believe. AB?

Default Why wouldn't you get the others stops?

you should get all stops that remain IMO.If not,why get them with a lateral or pass behind the LOS.Keep it consistent.I know I asked AB about getting an Int. and when that happens the team that INT. gets 3 stops to return it.that is what he told me on a previous post when I asked.LMK what you find out--STT

Default ONE OTHER TIDBIT

COACHES,

I spoke with ant on the phone yesterday and i asked him a quesh i was not 100% of. I asked him

If the receiver catches the ball before the TIME RUNNER reaches the end of the timer box, is that stoppage over ? His answer was " no " !! He can contimue on with the ball until that one paticular stop is over.

i should have asked also, Can he be adjusted again before that one paticular stop or does he have to finish out the direction he was going until the next stop. THIS CAN SIMULATE A SHAKE AND BAKE MOVE BEFORE THE NEXT STOP

THANX
