SCRAMBLING IN THE MPFL, "you gotta luv it"
coaches,
As you are waiting for you WR'S to get open, do know you can scramble using the drop back bar. IF MY JOEY PORTER IS ON YOUR BUTT, during the next stop just place the drop back bar in another area and have your qb run to it. i have a quesh for ANT AND JIMBO Lets say the snap begins with your qb in the shotgun position resting on the drop back bar 12 yards away from the line of scrim. On the second stop a bull-rush is coming at your qb but does not quite get there. To move up into the pocket to avoid the would be "bears" lol. can you place the bar in front of the qb lets say 7 yards and have him run to it. The bar would be behind the offensive line and in front of the qb. ( THIS OFCOURSE IF YOUR OFFENSIVE LINE IS NOT BEING PUSHED BACK AND CAN HOLD THE DEFENSIVE LINE FOR ANOTHER SECOND OR 2) WHAT IS THE STEPPING UP INTO THE POCKET RULE Thanx mantaraydre

Quote:
The precedures are the same as if the QB was dropping back, if a defender touches the bas while the QB is on it it is a sack, if the bar helps the "O"line men to block/protect the QB then it is holding on the offense

Do not forget the magnet and QB play
The QB can be placed on/off a magnet at will.Take him off the magnet to escape, put him back on to set up in the pocket on the next stoppage. He is the only player that can do this.A/O's have to start w/ a magnet pre snap if they are going to use one. When removed at the stoppage of your choice, they cannot be placed back on at another stoppage like the QB can.I believe I have this correct.STT

Players start on a magnet befor the play starts, once the play starts, no player can be placed on a magnet other than the QB.
