Default Prolines

Good morning,

Hope all who attended had a GREAT time at the convention.

So did anyone hear about the availability of the new and improved proline bases?

If I were to place an order today, would I receive the correct runs.

Thought y'all may have received some insight at the tourney...I'll probably give Miggle a call later on as well.

Thanks,

Joeram57

I was told first hand at the convention that from now on when you order the Pro Line STRONG bases, they will now be of the NEW material. The new material is much lighter green than before but its relatively soft and seems similar to the current frosty material. All of the old Prolines with the hard plastic are being purged. These new bases should be available as of now so you can order away. Guys at the convention were all buying packs. Its back to being a really good base. It is different material than the original but its back to being softer at least.

It sounded to me that only the STRONG Pro Lines were being run in the new material and that the line of Pro Line "FAST" bases may not be continued. Anyone else have any updates on the "fast" Pro Lines?

Default Thanks

Thanks Joe,

Put an order in yesterday, I'll see what comes and how they are, keeping in mind I have never touched a "first run" proline, so obviously nothing to compare to.

Thanks again,

Joe Ram

Default GREAT BASES

Finally got to tweaking some of the new pro lines and....they are GREAT. The Pro Line strong bases, all of them both rookie and TTC, rounded front and straight front. I'm not a huge fan of the frosty green color but these babies can be fast, strong, straight as an arrow, or loopers. Miggle has a great base on their hands...a base for all figures and all board styles, they excel on FAST boards. They are SO stable and smooth. Tweak em with some heat and light pressure for spreed or squeeze em harder and curl them back for strength. Tweaking a guy to run fast between the hashes for 50+ yards is a breeze. I'm really surprised to not have seen some more positive reviews on these. I highly recommend trying them.

Default New tweaker

Joe,

I've have only tried a couple at this point, so not a conclusive test, however, did not tweak well for me at first try...I would say average, relative to ME.

I noticed you capitalized FAST BOARD in your post.

Perhaps I am not having as much success due to my 620 (I've tried 3) or my "newbieness" at tweaking...

I hope to see some more posts (opinions/tips) as I have heard mixed results...

Joe

Default I love them compared to what we had the pass year.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 1st runs being 10, IMHO I give the new prolines a 8, I got some nice power and speed out of the ones I tweaked sofar, not 1st run power but they are excellent and perfect to work with, I don't think we will ever see the 1st run plastic again, myself and others have received 8 different samples over the pass 6 months and this batch is by far the best out of all.

P.S. I do like the TTC shells MUCH better then the 1st runs though, they are outstanding and hold the tweak well.

Default miggle's new proline bases

Norbert is right the new proline bases are good ,
not as good as the 1st run proline but still the best base out there to me.
you can tweek for speed and strength, so to me 1st run proline bases is a 10
and the new proline bases are a 8 on a scale from 1 to 10

you will never see 1st run proline bases again if you have some keep them for your self or if you can get them then do so asap,

ps new proline bases are not as strong as 1st run proline bases,
but are as fast as or faster then 1st run proline bases.

FAST board you ask? Does your board run like the ones you see on the forum. Examples are below (recent footage of the Great Lakes super bowl, Michigan/Illinois game) to name a few examples of what boards I would call nice and fast.

Default After working with the new prolines more

I'am starting to get a better feel for them in terms of getting more power out of them,.........speed is easy.

The Tester base at top is a new proline strongdial in a blue shell, it gets push back 5 yards in 3 seconds by my strongest 1st run on both sides of the 50 yardline.

Heres 46 Powerbases that I finished a couple days ago, they all have settled and ready for testing, the 4th tier row needs abit more work,........that 1st tier is awesome,.........which pushes my tester back 2-3 yards in 3 seconds on AVG., the second tier ties my tester, the 3rd tier gets pushed back 5 yards on AVG. in 3 seconds by the tester.
