Default Customizing FF.Net Players:It's not that Difficult

There was a time when I could envision a figure but could not bring it to life. I was so amazed by my friend Dirk Thomas to look beyond a stock pose and turn it into something totally different. I had another friend, Jon Thomas, who had some Houston Oilers that he customized that always stuck with me. And then I remember Larry Walker bringing his display to Chicago in 1995 and how he took customized figures to a new level. I can never not mention customizing of our figures without talking about a guy a call my brother, Jayboy "Ronald Combs". Jay and I coloraborate on many things and share similar visions of figures. He's more of the artist and I am more of the visionary.

Because my reference point is from what I know and the people I try to educate about our figures, I can only discuss from an FF.Net perspective. For me, it is important to show my customers as much information that I can about what you can do with our figures. Right now, I have more than 2,000 different poses in my collection. Within the 24 poses that are available, you can literally re-create anything you want.

For my customizers, knowledge of the stock pose is a starting point. If you know the poses, you know how to chop the figure. Once you've got that information, the sky is the limit. While customizing is still in its infancy stage, I get more calls from aspiring customizers of our figures that ever before. We've had to endure all the name calling but persist to show guys how to incorporate into their MF genre.

As an engineer, the key to job security was knowledge that others may not know. I never felt that way as I always felt it was important to show my fellow engineer what I know. I take that approach in customizing. Guys are finding that it is not difficult. They also find that with practice, it becomes addicting because then you know the techniques and it just takes practice. My DVDs are keepsakes because they show secrets that no one else knows.

So I want to say thanks to all that customized FF.Net/FF.Com players and always feel that you can ask questions about customizing. If I don't know anything else about the game, I do know my product.
