How Do You Soften The Hard Old School TTC Bases and rookies
Had a fellow Coach pose that question to me , how can he re-soften the plastic to make old hard bases useable and athletic , is this possible at all? (a Coach Jeff priest Run on) How would this pertain to old rookie bases?

Coach,
You can boil them in hot water. This will work most of the time... Wally Last edited by WallyJ : 02-16-2009 at 10:07 AM. |

Remember
Boiled Bases of any kind ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE BAM NOR THE PHILLY "NATIONAL" LEAGUE.........

Just to clarify this. Boiling in water (no other ingredients) will not soften the plastic. The plastic is what it is... what it will do is help straigten out prongs and reprogram them. Similar to what you can you using a heated pliers.
