Default Attn: MF leagues around the Country...

I have been extremely interested for quite some time now to join, participate, fellowship and compete in other leagues across the US. I have just recently joined the BAM league and I'm currently competing in the LAEFL an DFW league.

I would like to challenge myself so that I may continue to enjoy the hobby by competing in other styles of play.

After this season I will not return to the DFW for at least 3 years. I will only participate in the LAEFL for this season as I look to participate in their launch of their ESPN promotion. I will now be a full time member of the BAM league for the next 3 seasons. However, I would like to join another league. Here is what I'm looking for to join another league...

I don't care what the ruleset or weight limit is. I just want to be able to use what I have. I would like to join a league that has more than 15 local coaches so that I'm guaranteed game play when I arrive. I would also like to not have to make more than 3 trips to your area. I was very close to playing in the NEFL with Corey and the guys out in Philly but because they have their playoffs over a 4 week period it made it impossible for me to play. 4 trips in 4 weeks, I cannot do. If there are any other leagues out there that are recruiting for the fall please let me know via PM.

Default Congrats Champ!!!!

I'm going to call you Mr. DFW!

Without a shadow of doubt you have mastered the DFW style of play. There are several leagues out there that may be available for you.

I would suggest doing the toureny circuit. One weekend, you are done.

We would have loved to have you in the NEFL. Hopefully you can play with us next season as we look to add Adrian Baxter back into the fold!
You say you can't play because of the playoff set up...........Who said you would the playoffs!!!

We start after the miggle convention, and after the NFL super bowl. We play every weekend. The guys from Md, & NY usually come in every other weekend. We could fix something up for you maybe......we will be sure to keep that in mind when we are setting the table for the next season!
If we have 32 next year, we will use the NFL 07 schedule, so check it out!

Again congrats on another DFW title. It was great talking to you the yesterday as you were heading back to Austin. Can't wait for RJ to post the pix and video!

Default Hey wolverine...

I would love to come and I'm actually looking into it. I spoke to Jim today for about a half hour. There are a few factor but I'm working on it...

From Austin there are no direct flights into Detroit. Each flight is about $380 to be exact so I'm looking at $800 in flights alone. So I would need to look into with your president to see if it can be done in 2 trips.

Also I need to know your play dates and interlock them with my schedule to see its feasible. This may change flight cost also depending on dates I can fly in.

I was on league daddy today and was reading your rules. I like them a lot.

Your league also starts during the same time as the BAM league. Traveling to 2 leagues at the same time might get me in trouble with the lady here at home so I will have to get that worked out also.

I'm not ruling it out though. I've also been talking to Joel in the Dixie League and they have the 4.1 weight limits so I wouldn't have to rebuild a team and they only have 2 play dates. They get their entire season completed in 2 weekends so to be honest I'm leaning towards "DIXIE". I want to hit the Great Lakes extremely bad but the with the DIXIE League I have less changes to make, I can play with my team, I can make less trips, and its cheaper to fly into SC than into Detroit. A lot cheaper! However, I owe my good friend Jim and Norbert! They came here to the DFW so I'm going to try really really hard to make it work. I'm waiting a call back from Jim now.
