The Thrill of Defeat, And the Agony of victory...

In this game sometimes it seems that your best game can also be your worst game. Case in point.. i just finnished our 3rd game day in the PAC 10 and played a couple games as did my son. I say thrill of defeat because Shawn has been trying so hard to get his first victory under his belt, but just seems to be in a 4th quarter jinx right now.
It looked like he was finally going to break through this weekend and get his first ever cbsmf win, he was playing the best game he had ever played, hitting passes like clockwork and running strong, he put up alot of points and was leading his opponent 33 to 14 going into the 4th quarter. Then disaster.......
Now the coach he was playing in no slouch either having won some championships himself, but we all though that the way shawn was playing he had this game in control and just had to stick it till the end, but wow...15 mins later and with 6 seconds left in the game his oponent pulls off his gr8 comback and wins 35 to 33....and we were all shocked.
But shawn said although he lost it was a thrilling game to have played.

Having played my son to a double overtime game myself, and finally winning i felt almost agony as i threw that winning pass as i had givin him yet another loss on a good effort he played very hard to win.

So looking back at all this i just wonder....is it more fun to play and win....or to be very competative...have a shootout thriller game..but lose??

TIME IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY!!! GIVE HIM TIME DA KID IS A FORCE TO BE RECK'ON WITH! YOUTH + TIME = YOU DO THE MATH THE KIDS AN ENTERTAINER HE THREW BOMBS,SLATS AND INTO SEAMS! A FRESHMAN QB STARTER PLAYIN WITH THE BIG DAWGS!!!!!
