ELECTRIC FOOTBALL RULES


KICKOFFS

THE KICKING TEAM KICKS OFF FROM THE 50
THE RECEIVING TEAM SETS UP FROM THEIR THIRTY AND BACK
THE KICK RETURNER IS PLACED ON THE GOAL LINE BETWEEN THE HASHES
THE RECEIVING TEAM CONTROLLS THE BOARD
ON SIDE KICKS CAN BE USED AT ANYTIME BUT WILL COUNT AS A GADGET PLAY
THE KICKING TEAM WILL PLACE THE BALL ELEVEN YARDS FROM THE FIFTY AT ANY SPOT
ALL PLAYERS ARE THEN PIVOTED AND THE FIRST TO TOUCH THE BALL RECOVERS. THE PLAYER RECOVERING THE BALL AND ALL OTHER UNENGAGED PLAYERS ON THE OPPOSITE TEAM THEN CAN BE BE PIVOTED FOR A RETURN

OFFENSE

THE OFFENSE CONTROLLS THE BOARD EXCEPT ON A FUMBLE OR INTERCEPTION RETURN
THE OFFENSE CAN STOP THE BOARD AT ANYTIME TO PIVOT PLAYERS. A PLAYER CAN NOT BE STACKED. MUST BE FIVE YARDS BEHIND ANOTHER PLAYER UNLESS A PLAYER IS POINTED INTO A GAP. THE OFFENSE MUST HAVE SEVEN MEN ON THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. THE OFFENSIVE LINE MUST HAVE EQUAL SPACING BETWEEN PLAYERS. OFFENSIVE LINE BASES OR ANY PART OF THE FIGURE ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE TOUCHING AT THE SNAP OF THE BALL. THE OFFENSE HAS ONE MINUTE TO SET PLAYERS ONCE THE PLAYERS HAVE BEEN SEPERATED FROM THE PREVIOUS PLAY. AN OFFENSIVE COACH ONLY HAS TWENTY SECONDS TO MAKE PIVOTS.FOUR PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED IN THE BACKFIELD AT ONE TIME. ONCE ALL OFFENSIVE PLAYERS ARE SET THE COACH SAYS SET
PASS SIMULATION STICKS ARE USED. THE OFFENSE IS ALLOWED ONE MOTION PLAYER AFTER SAYING SET. IF THE PLAYER IS PUT IN MOTION IN THE BACKFIELD HE MUST BE IN A GAP. NO PUSHING.
THE QB IS NOT ALLOWED TO PUSH ON ANY PLAY EXCEPT FOR A QB SNEAK OR DRAW. IF THE QB IS HANDING THE BALL OFF HE MUST BE HEADING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. HE IS NOT PERMITTED TO HEAD TOWARDS THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE TO PUSH BLOCK.
IF THE QB DRIFTS BACK MORE THAN TWENTY YARDS FROM THE LINE OF SCCRIMMMAGE HE IS SACKED. THE DEFENSE MUST MAKE THAT CALL.IF AN OPTION RUN PLAY IS USED THE PLAYERS MUST BE RUNNING TOWARDS THE TACKLES OR IN A SWEEP TYPE PLAY. NO UP THE MIDDLE OPTIONS. IF AN OPTION RUN, PASS BY THE QB IS USED THE OFFENSIVE COACH IS ONLY ALLOWED ONE STOPPAGE BEFORE DECIDING TO RUN OR PASS. OFFENSE MUST SAY PITCH THEN THE BOARD IS TURNED OFF AND ALLOWABLE PIVOTS ARE MADE. IF A PLAYER IS NOT AT LEAST FIVE YARDS BEHIND THE OPTION RUNNER THEN A FUMBLE OCCURS. FOLLOW FUMBLE RULES. ON PASSING PLAYS THE OFFENSE IS ALLOWED ONE THROW AWAY PER 4 DOWN SET. THE OFFENSIVE COACH IS ALLOWED ONE STOPPAGE TO PIVOT ENGAGED RECEIVERS. YOU CAN THROW TO AN ENGAGED RECEIVER. WHEN A RUNNING BACK RECEIVES A HANDOFF HE MUST BE BESIDE OR BEHIND THE QB.

DEFENSE

THE DEFENSE CAN SET UP PLAYERS ANYWHERE WITHIN FOURTY YARDS OF THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE.
NO STACKING. THE DEFENSE HAS TWENT SECONDS TO MAKE ANY PIVOTS AFTER THE OFFENSE. MUST BE AT LEAST FIVE YARDS BEHIND ANOTHER PLAYER EXCEPT IF HE IS SHOOTIN A GAP. THE DEFENSE CAN PIVOT ANY UNENGAGED PLAYER WHEN THE OFFENSE SHUTS OFF THE BOARD. DEFENSIVE PLAYER CAN NOT IMPEDE OR CHANGE THE DIRECTION OF AN OFFENSIVE PLAYER WHEN A PASS IS IN THE AIR. (WHEN A RECEIVER IS RUNNING TOWARDS THE MAGNETIC BALL ON A PASS)IF PASS INTERFERENCE IS CALLED AND THE RECEIVER MISSESS THE BALL THE OFFENSE SETS UP FOR THE NEXT PLAY WHERE THE INTERFERENCE HAPPENED AND IT THEN BECOMES A FIRST DOWN. IF A RECEIVER IS INTERFERED WITH AND STILL RUNS INTO THE FOOTBALL THE PLAY IS CONTINUED LIKE ANY OTHER PLAY.

TURNOVERS

INTERCEPTIONS OCCUR WHEN A DEFENSIVE PLAYER RUNS INTO THE MAGNETIC FOOTBALL BEFORE AN OFFENSIVE PLAYER DOES. THE BOARD IS STOPPED AND ANY UNENGAGED PLAYERS FROM THE OFFENSIVE TEAM CAN BE PIVOTED. THE BOARD IS TURNED OVER TO THE DEFENSE AND A RETURN OCCURS. FUMBLES OCCUR WHEN A BALL CARRIER IS HIT BY MORE THAN ONE DEFENSIVE PLAYER AT THE SAME TIME. THE DEFENSE THEN SETS THE MAGNETIC FOOTBALL ON THE FIELD USING THE RED PASSING STICK ALL PLAYER BOTH ENGAGED AND UNENGAGED ARE PIVOTED. THE OFFENSIVE COACH THEN TURNS THE BOARD BACK ON. THE FIRST PLAYER TO TOUCH THE BALL RECOVERS. THE BOARD IS THEN SHUT OFF. THE BOARD IS THEN TURNED BACK ON BY THE RECOVERING COACH AND A RETURN IS THEN SET UP PIVOTING ONLY UNENGAGED PLAYERS. IF A BALL CARRIER IS TACKLED AND FALLS USE THE SAME RULES EXCEPT THE CARRIER CAN NOT RECOVER THE BALL. IF A FUMBLE IS NOT RECOVERED THE OFFENSE TAKES OVER THE BALL AT THE POINT WHERE HE FUMBLED.

GADGET PLAYS

A TEAM IS ONLY ALLOWED TWO PER GAME. AN ONSIDE KICK, FAKE PUNT OR FAKE FIELD GOAL IS CONSIDERED A GADGET PLAY.

KICKING

WHEN KICKING AN EXTRA POINT THE KICKING TEAM ROLLS A SIX SIDED DICE ONCE. IF A ONE ROLLS THE EXTRA POINT IS NO GOOD. WHEN PUNTING THE PUNTER IS SET FIFTEEN YARDS BEHIND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE TO EITHER RUN IN A CIRCLE OR BE PUT ON AN IMOBILE BASE. THE BOARD IS TURNED ON AND IF A DEFENSIVE PLAYER HITS THE PUNTER WITHIN THREE SECONDS THE PUNT IS BLOCKED. THE DEFENSE THEN SETS THE BALL ON THE FIELD USING THE RED PASSING STICK. ALL PLAYER ARE PIVOTED AND THE FUMBLE RULES ARE IN EFFECT. A SIX SIDED DICE IS ROLLED TWICE WITH THE FIRST NUMBER ROLLED TO BE THE FIRST NUMBER ON THE YARDAGE OF THE KICK. THE DICE IS THEN ROLLED A SECOND TIME WITH THAT NUMBER BEING THE SECOND NUMBER FOR THE YARDAGE KICKED. EXAMPLE IF A FIVE IS ROLL ON THE FIRST ROLL AND A SIX IS ROLLED ON THE SECOND ROLL THE PUNT IS THEN FIFTY SIX YARDS. THE RETURN TEAM THEN PLACES A RETURNER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD AND TAKES CONTROLL OF THE BOARD. IF THE BALL IS PUNTED INTO THE ENDZONE IT IS A TOUCHBACK WITH THE BALL BEING PLACED ON THE TWENTY TARD LINE. WHEN ATTEMPTING A FIELD GOAL A KICKER AND HOLDER IS PLACED FIFTEEN YARDS BEHIND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE ON AN IMOBILE BASES. IF THE HOLDER OR KICKER IS TOUCHED WITHIN THREE SECONDS A BLOCK HAS OCCURRED. USE THE FUMBLE RULES. IF THE KICK IS NOT BLOCKED A SIX SIDED DICE IS ROLLED. THE ROLE OF THE DICE MUST BE EQUAL TO OR HIGHER THAN THE ATTEMPT TRIED. EXAMPLE. IF A THIRTY YARD FIELD GOAL IS ATTEMPTED THAN THE PLAYER MUST ROLE A THREE OR HIGHER. A SIXTY YARD FIELD GOAL IS THE FARTHEST FIELD GOAL YOU CAN TRY. IF THE KICK IS MISSED THAN THE BALL IS SET AT THE KICKING POINT AND THE OPPOSING TEAM THEN TAKES OVER
