![]() Skin tones 1st or last, that is the question, also I am getting a couple air bubbles when I bulletproof my guys, mostly when I seal the decals into place, is it the cheap $1 brush or what, I know I could use a spray clear coat, but here in the greatlakes, we don't allow anything on the figures platform.
P.S I just finished my 10th college team and the skintone thing is really startin to ******** me off. Norbert

![]() i always do skin tones first, just my preference.
as far as airbubbles, are you applying a lot of clear at once? i've always found that it's better to work in thin layers. a good brush doesn't hurt either. ![]() |

![]() Norbert...
I may be a bit different here. I paint them 1st and I paint the arms up into the jersey too. That's because I paint the Whites on jerseys and pants. On the heads, I paint the Neckline and into the helments. No need to be careful or perfect on the skin tones. It's fixed when you paint the rest of the uniform and helmets. Mike |

![]() Use a testors white paint brush with the black plastic fibers. They are very cheap and will treat well against the chemical in the clear coat which is too strong for most paint brushes.
Trust me as you will be able to phase out those annyoing air bubbles. --DM |
