Default Attention all league and tournament organizers-Rules Paragraph Needed

With the establishment of the current rules commitee, we are in the process of putting together a rule book that explains the basic rules for playing the game of electric football and explores the many variations currently being used by coaches and leagues. I would like for all league and tournament organizers to put together a short explanation of the rules that are used by your league or tournament and what makes them unique, exciting and / or adds to the realsim of playing the game. My idea is to include these at the end of the basic rules sets. This is your opportunity to make a pitch for your style of play and an opportunity to recruit new coaches. Please send these directly to me by email eflfanatic@comcast.net or PM.

Thanks
Chris LeMay
Chairman MFCA Rules Committee

I just wanted to add and stress that this is an educational rule set using the original Tudor rules as the platform with updated modern terminology, a definitions glossary, game play and equipment. When completed it will serve as the starting point for all new coaches entering the hobby to answer many of their first questions. The rules will start with the basics and will include highlighted sections for advanced game play and will occasionaly reference other rules sets for the more detailed info. (the shootout rules box for example). In many ways it will be an ultimate rules FAQ which is why we want to include a place for all leagues to give a paragraph stressing the nuances and differences of your style. This will be a great advertisement for each of you so please put some good thought toward this and write a very descriptive paragraph. We will edit it for grammar, etc. and the finished product will be included in a special edition Tweak magazine. As the game changes over the years, we will do an annual update to the rules to include any new styles, enhancemnets or innovations.

The committee has already made huge strides and Chris is charging forward as committee chairman. I am very excited by what they are doing!

This rule set is an important addition to the overall goals of our mission statement, so as a member, it is your duty and to your benefit to respond to Chris's request and provide him with the requested info in a timely manner. Thanks.
